Could someone please link me to the build of TWRP we should be using with Android 13 based ROMs, such as this one? Is the build for "rosy" devices (twrp-3.7.0_12-4-rosy.img) compatible with the Mi Pad 4?
I used the 3.7.0_9 TWRP from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/mipad4-roms/files/Recovery/TWRP/4.19/Could someone please link me to the build of TWRP we should be using with Android 13 based ROMs, such as this one? I think you would have to be careful which version of TWRP you use. I used the official latest build as recommended for this ROM:I used the 3.7.0_9 TWRP from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/mipad4-roms/files/Recovery/TWRP/4.19/
I used the Pix109 TWRP without any issues, flashed from MIUI 8.1 to Lineage and have done 3 updates with it since then.I think you would have to be careful which version of TWRP you use. I used the official latest build as recommended for this ROM:
TeamWin - TWRP
This is the Team Win website and the official home of TWRP! Here you will find the list of officially supported devices and instructions for installing TWRP on those devices.twrp.me
Thhere an unofficial version by Pix106 specifically for ROMs that use the 4.19 kernal but it seemingly doesnt work with this ROM as it is based on the 4.4 kernal.
That's interesting. Have you installed this ROM using it as Pix recommends a 4.4 TWRP for 4.4 based ROMs and his 4.19 version for his Arrow ROM and other 4.19 ROMs. His instructions are that you format data before installing TWRP 4.19 over 4.4 versions and vice versa.I used the Pix109 TWRP without any issues, flashed from MIUI 8.1 to Lineage and have done 3 updates with it since then.
I did a full wipe for the initial install from MIUI to Lineage .. then all the updates have been dirty flashesThat's interesting. Is that a typo for your TWRP and it is actually the recommended 3.7.0_9.0 version? If so and you formatted data before installing the ROM then that is what I did when I installed it last week but I did flash Gapps at the same time.I was able to flash LOS 20 today and it boots just fine, but I forgot to flash GApps, so I was going to go back and re-flash in TWRP, but now when I try to reboot into TWRP it just sits on the splash screen for it (3.7.0_9-6)
Is there a way I can wipe it from fastboot or start over some other way? I have a full backup of the factory OS on SD Card.
I still am not quite sure where I went wrong here... Now all it does is bootloop to the TWRP splash screen.
Don't do what I didHello, I have the November version installed, how do I install the new December version?
I've now got the same problem. Did you find a solution using Fastboot or another method?I was able to flash LOS 20 today and it boots just fine, but I forgot to flash GApps, so I was going to go back and re-flash in TWRP, but now when I try to reboot into TWRP it just sits on the splash screen for it (3.7.0_9-6)

I'm struggling to install the correct drivers for Fastboot on a new laptop. I have it correctly setup on my old laptop and it can recognise my device when I enter fastboot devices command but not on my new one. I have installed 15 seconds driver tool and I am using the Minimal ADB & Fastboot tool but having tried lots of different things I'm out of ideas.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks. I've got a USB 2.0 hub that I use on my old laptop as it's only got 3.0 ports. It works fine on that but not on the newer one I will be using. It seems very hit and miss getting the correct drivers installed as I've struggled doing it initially for the Nexus 7 I have and this device too previously. I've got a docking station for the newer laptop with 2.0 ports so I'll try that with the hub.I had a devil of a time with fastboot when I tried using it on my new laptop until I connected it my Mi Pad using an old USB2.0 hub (laptop only has USB3 ports).
Not sure if you're having the same issue but here's the forum post that helped me out Fastboot problem on USB 3.0 ports
Installed on the previous version Los 19.1 with LINEAGE RECOVERY and working correctly except NETFLIX.
NETFLIX doesn't finish opening.
Looking for persist image? I've been through what you've been. My solution was to fflas xiaomi eu rom. But now since i got my persist back, my turn to help. Here you go. Mi Pad 4 Persist imageI have not find anything that would help me for MiPad 4. Can you share persist.img? Or your backup?
So weird, I flash Xiaomi's official ROM it works, then I use Xiaomi Tool to flash TWRP then LineageOS, it does not work again.Congrats, that means you have corrupted your /persist partition. Search for the solution, there's many people faced this problem
right. and the auto brightness does not work as wellWhen you say auto-rotate does not work, you mean that your screen is stuck in the vertical position?
