Could someone please link me to the build of TWRP we should be using with Android 13 based ROMs, such as this one? Is the build for "rosy" devices (twrp-3.7.0_12-4-rosy.img) compatible with the Mi Pad 4?

I think you would have to be careful which version of TWRP you use. I used the official latest build as recommended for this ROM:

Thhere an unofficial version by Pix106 specifically for ROMs that use the 4.19 kernel but it seemingly doesnt work with this ROM as it is based on the 4.4 kernel.

I used the Pix109 TWRP without any issues, flashed from MIUI 8.1 to Lineage and have done 3 updates with it since then.

That's interesting. Have you installed this ROM using it as Pix recommends a 4.4 TWRP for 4.4 based ROMs and his 4.19 version for his Arrow ROM and other 4.19 ROMs. His instructions are that you format data before installing TWRP 4.19 over 4.4 versions and vice versa.

I did a full wipe for the initial install from MIUI to Lineage .. then all the updates have been dirty flashes

I was able to flash LOS 20 today and it boots just fine, but I forgot to flash GApps, so I was going to go back and re-flash in TWRP, but now when I try to reboot into TWRP it just sits on the splash screen for it (3.7.0_9-6)

Is there a way I can wipe it from fastboot or start over some other way? I have a full backup of the factory OS on SD Card.

I still am not quite sure where I went wrong here... Now all it does is bootloop to the TWRP splash screen.

Is that a typo for your TWRP and it is actually the recommended 3.7.0_9.0 version? If so and you formatted data before installing the ROM then that is what I did when I installed it last week but I did flash Gapps at the same time.

If you can get into Fastboot mode I'd suggest flashing TWRP to see if you can enter Recovery mode.

I've now got the same problem. Did you find a solution using Fastboot or another method?

Solution: flash TWRP using Fastboot and format data

I think I have found a solution for dirty flash, at least the one that worked for me.
I did use stardard twrp last version from twrp site, reboot in twrp and flash the rom December edition, adding also the gapp in sequenze with the option add zip. I'd get a couple of errors in mounting data during flash, but after reboot everything was working just fine

Thanks to your help I updated correctly by first installing the update and then the gapps. The author of the thread should put these instructions in the main thread for when an update is done.

I'm struggling to install the correct drivers for Fastboot on a new laptop. I have it correctly setup on my old laptop and it can recognise my device when I enter fastboot devices command but not on my new one. I have installed 15 seconds driver tool and I am using the Minimal ADB & Fastboot tool but having tried lots of different things I'm out of ideas.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I had a devil of a time with fastboot when I tried using it on my new laptop until I connected it my Mi Pad using an old USB2.0 hub (laptop only has USB3 ports).

Not sure if you're having the same issue but here's the forum post that helped me out Fastboot problem on USB 3.0 ports

Thanks. I've got a USB 2.0 hub that I use on my old laptop as it's only got 3.0 ports. It works fine on that but not on the newer one I will be using. It seems very hit and miss getting the correct drivers installed as I've struggled doing it initially for the Nexus 7 I have and this device too previously. I've got a docking station for the newer laptop with 2.0 ports so I'll try that with the hub.

Update: case closed!! I got there in the end and it was a driver issue and not the USB port. It seems to be very tricky to get the right drivers installed as I always seem to have to spend hours doing it before something finally works.

Good job, awesome rom, better if with face unlock.
I meet some bugs:
1.App Drawer has a ui bug when scroll to the bottom
2.The wallpaper preview is keep the default one, although the wallpaper has been changed
3.The cpu mininum clock locked at 1408Mhz, not sure, maybe caused by the kernel app(Scene4)

Really Great, Great job. ROM works perfectly, smooth, fast and stable.

I have met one issue which wasn't present in previous LOS 19.1 that is:

- I can't establish wi-fi connection with WPA2-Enterprise security mode.

Generally when making a secured connection, there is lack of option "not specified" in "CA Certificate" field.
I've tried Trust on first use, and I've trusted proposed certificate and it works till disconnection. When connecting again it doesn't work. When I choose trust on first use, it asks again and I trust, but again it works till disconnection.
