Noticed major bug.
On 3G, You can make calls but doesn't receive calls. VoLTE is required to receive calls.
If your carrier hasn't support VoLTE, don't use this rom.

There's no patches for now. I'll try to fix but tell me more specifically how's sucks
Hmm... I'll tried, but It's fine at here.
Try clean flash, if won't improve, revert to stock.
Weirdo problem here after quite a while using the ROM: Phone doesn't work anymore in Data (3G/4G/5G). Few days ago the cell tower of my operator has broken so phone lost GSM signal completely. Then cell was repaired 3 days later so voice came back on phone but 3G/4G/5G was gone ! No way to activate/reactivate it on phone while it works perfect in voice mode for audio call !
Any idea what's the problem and if there is an easy way to fix it ? I'm on travel so can't afford to take risk to flash again phone or stuffs like that ! I don't think it's a hardware problem or voice would not work too I think !

What do you mean? Rom's is still updated, last 07/07
I know maybe it's a stupid suggestion, have you tried to restart the phone? It usually solves most of signal issue.
Yeah I rebooted phone, swapped also sim cards between 2 slots but still the same ! It's very weirdo as I was unable to activate any data connection while I was with that operator in France (Free Mobile in France) while it worked first few days, then I came back at my home country in switzerland and when I reactivated my local SIM card no problem at all ! It reconnected straight in 5G so not sure what's the problem is
Regarding updates can I do a dirty update in latest version without issues ? I'm rurnnig an "old" version of Evolution X that is 2/3 months old I think. Should I do it through the upgrade menu in phone or through TWRP ?

Dirty flash isn't work for this update. Please clean flash.

Thanks for confirmation unhappy I don't have really time to spend for the moment to reinstall full phone just for an upgrade, not even speaking of bank app that I won't be able to use during few days after that

After dirty flashing Update 20230707 my internet (mobile network and WIFI) is not working properly. I can receive data (like push notifications), however no data is being sent out.
Have you seen this behaviour before?

First Time Install / Clean Flash
1. Download the ZIP and recovery.img, vbmeta.img from our SourceForge
2. Power off, long press power + vol down same time to enter the bootloader
3. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
4. fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
5. fastboot reboot recovery
6. Tap "Factory reset" -> "Format data/factory reset" and confirm
7. Tap "Apply Update" -> "Apply from ADB"
8. Flash the ZIP via adb sideload
9. Reboot to System and #KeepEvolving

1. Download the flashable ZIP for your device
2. Reboot to Recovery

3So this is not a problem with this EvolutionX build, rather it's an Android 12/13 encryption with TWRP one as I just came to understand, but I just wanted to confirm that every user of this ROM should then have the same issue as me:
When I boot into TWRP (twrp-3.7.0_11-0-denniz) I cannot decrypt the /data/media/ folder, so I cannot mount it nor acces it using TWRP file explorer. This is without any pin / password set in Evolution, as well as with a pin, or a password (tried all three).

There I realized TWRP builds are specific to Android versions, and that A12/13 uses different encryption that doesn't work with TWRP builds for A11.
So is this the case and can everyone running Evolution or any other A12/13 ROM also not decrypt their /media/data/ partition?
Does anyone happen to have come across a TWRP build for denniz for A12/13? In the thread linked above they gave me instructions for making such a build, but that is a bit above my level :/ If anyone wants to try and get it done together I'm in ofcourse, but I'm not a dev and it has been many years since working with git and make.
I guess it's not that much of a problem as there are workarounds for most things I see myself needing to do.
The only thing I don't know how to get around is making a NANDROID backup with TWRP. It normally saves to /data/media/TWRP, but as this is not accessible, is there any way to change the location where TWRP saves backups?
Tl;dr:
- Everyone here have TWRP decryption problems of the /data/media partition?
- Anyone know about a TWRP build for denniz for A12/13? Or wants to try and build it together using instructions in the linked thread?
- (How to make NANDROID backup in TWRP to another location than the default /data/media/TWRP, which is not decryptable?)

I remember the depressing times when we thought we wouldn't get any great ROMs for denniz, because of the mediatek chip and OP not releasing the firmware, but here we are <322
Well, I think it may be possible because running `echo 1 > /sys/class/leds/vibrator/motor_old` (as root) causes the haptic motor to knock (knock? spin? run?).
