Hello! I've been using the Pixel Experience for about 6 months now, and I've never had any issues. However, after the January and February updates, the Tiktok app started switching the name to Emoji or [value removed], the icon started glitching, like this and i can't open it. I think this happened due to some configuration or parameters of these updates, as I already checked the smartphone for viruses, etc. When I reinstall the app, it goes back to normal, but this is tiring because every day it starts to glitch again! Does anyone know if this is a problem with the app or a PE configuration? (Sorry if I'm in the wrong topic). Thank you.

The A52 4g is my first Samsung and I like it but I come from a Poco X3 with pixel experience and I just loved this rom (one UI is fine but pixel rom is superior imo).
So I saw this and Im planning to flash but I read some things that make me doubt if it is worth to do.

1. This "Knox" thing.
I saw that there is some kind of security stuff that detects when you flash a non official rom and it broke something in the chip that can not be restored NEVER (sorry if I'm wrong, is what I understood).
What is this ? Is a big deal? Do I need it for my daily basis ? What apps need Knox to work?

2. Samsung implementation of voLTE/voWiFi doesnt work.
Again, what is this? Does this means that I won't be able to use 4g data?

3.Camera
Gcam is great but there are some functions on stock camera that I use (video stabilization, 64mp, ultrawide)... On MIUI phones you can install anxcamera to use this features, theres something similar on Samsung or i won't be able to use this things anymore?

So thats it, I'm not planning to change this phone in a while and I don't have the guarantee anymore, if anyone wants to know. Is it worth to flash? Anyone had experience flashing this phone? You lose important features or is not that important? I really love pixel rom but i dont want to left my phone unusable

2) 4g data works fine, volte(voice over lte) doesnt work, so it will use 2g or 3g during calls

3) Some camera features like 64mp and slow mo work only with stock camera even on the stock rom, and hence those will not work, and there is no way to get the stock camera on aosp

Honestly, I have never seen or heard of this issue, please try clean flashing PE.

Yes you will have no issues with camera working on oneui, just keep in mind thats its not just samsung pass and samsung pay, its also many other samsung apps like secure folder and others.

About the same, but even on lineage, its not that bad tbh, just slightly worse.

Sometimes while I'm in a dark room and some white themed page appears (example: Tiktok Profiles) the brightness goes to the maximum and then goes down. I think the sensor detects the brightness of the screen, thinking it's the sun or a lamp. This does not disturb my use too much, but sometimes it bothers me because the brightness is too high. Even so, just lower the brightness in the settings and the automatic brightness returns to normal.

I think the bug got fixed because it stopped happening. Thanks for the tip, I flashed the ROM again and the problem disappeared.

On my OneUI 5.0, I quite often experience freezes and sags in the animation, for example, when exiting the program using gestures or buttons or when I opening the notification curtain, they sometimes slow down a lot, despite the fact that I have optimized my system as much as possible in all possible ways.

I would also like to ask how things are in free RAM, because on OneUI I always have 700 MB of 4 GB free, although nothing is running in the list of background tasks, only the most important.

And yet, on OneUI, there are often brakes when taking screenshots, that is, I will delay the buttons for a screenshot, and it will be taken only after 5 seconds, but after that it will begin to function normally and take screenshots instantly.

This, it seems, is the whole list of all the shortcomings of OneUi
