Hello,
Nice to see someone still supporting this device. I would like to understand if it is worth to me to move from my Xiaomi.eu ROM, and I have some questions:
  • How this ROM is different from the official LineageOS 20 ?
  • Can I root it with Magisk?
  • How it performs compared with LinageOS 18/19?
  • How it performs compared with Xiaomi.eu ROMS?

When I had xiaomi.eu ROM I thought I had to replace the phone, as battery won't last a day. Now it's a whole different story.
Faster, good battery life, same or better stability.
Lineage OS 19 was about the same, with 20 you get Android 13 features, and fingerprint activation when screen is off.
Didn't try official LOS.
Magisks works without issues, just remember to unhide app while upgrading version

@kyasu with lastest version my phone reboots (multiple times, it seems) trying to use google assistant (not OK google voice activated, just swipe gesture or power switch shortcut).
I didn't had such an issue with previous build. I dirty flashed all builds from LOS 19 onwards

Yesterday did the update from @kyasu's Lineage 19.1 build to Lineage 20. The ROM is very stable and fluid, and all seems to work perfect, except there are some problems with my Bluetooth headset. My Redmi Buds 3 are very buggy while streaming on HD audio codec (AAC). The sound is very laggy, glitchy and unstable. The only solution to use my Bluetooth headset for now is to switch it from AAC to SBC codec. AAC HD audio worked very well on lineage 19.1 build. How can I help with investigating this? Should I grab some logs while I'm on AAC codec?
Hi, I have the same issue with 20230106 build and my Sony WH-1000XM4. With kyasu's lineage 19.1 was perfect.
Does anyone know how we can use in HD mode?

Hi, I have a problem. I have installed Pixel Launcher by NickJupps. And it doesn't work. Other programs like YouTube, play market work, but not Pixel Launcher:(

Thank you for the effort, but HD codec is still broken for me. I mean, it works, but still unstable and with periodic signal drops and sound
I'm still on build 20230106 (I haven't had time to update yet), but by activating this option the sound is better (without sound shutter). Maybe the issue is a hardware acceleration problem to prepare the data

Hi,
First of all, thanks for the ROM.

A minor problem: I can find the "Wake screen for notifications" option while searching the settings, but when I click it's not there.

Ok i got it. It was always on display. Simply this plus forcing a bit the deep doze has fixed the issue. Battery tool in this matter is a suggested app

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This is an unofficial LineageOS 20 build for the global version of Xiaomi Mi 9 SE (grus).

    Requirements
    • Required firmware version is MIUI V12.5.1.0.RFBMIXM.
    • Required TWRP is provided in this post (see below) that returns the correct 'ro.product.device'.
    • Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed.
    • Twrp can't decrypt data in android 13, so you need to install updates via adb sideload.
    Known Issues
    • Please tell me
    Instructions
    1. Flash TWRP recovery via fastboot
    2. Boot to TWRP recovery (Vol UP + Power)
    3. Format Data (backup sdcard before format) if MIUI was previously installed
    4. Flash ROM (lineage-*.zip) via adb sideload (Advanced -> ADB sideload)
    5. Flash Gapps (MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm64 is recommended) via adb sideload
    6. Reboot
    Enjoy!

    NOTES
    • Safetynet can pass on this ROM (without magisk).
    • Regardless of the actual security update date, android security update is always displayed as 2021-04-01 for safetynet passing.
    • Recommended camera app is GCam Port: BSG 8.1 that can handle all of three lenses.

Thank you so much Kyasu for your hard work!
I think I will wait a few weeks before flashing the new a13 build, just to see if it's stable enough to "daily drive" it.
    Clean flash recommended?
Dirty flash over lineageos 19.1 is OK. I think this build is stable enough.
