Bro, I haven't had official Android 5 on my j5 2015 and j7 2015 phones for several years.
When I downgraded to Android 5, I saw that the phone turned on and off repeatedly, it was very bad compared to stock Android 6.
When I bought them in 2015, it wouldn't restart frequently
Maybe u can try another ROM from another countries?
Because I’m buy this phone at Taiwan,so I’m try to intall Taiwan ver. But it’s can’t work,so I’m try the ROM from thailand.it’s Success.

i download J7ELTE and BitGapps but it keeps getting stuck at the LineageOS splash screen
My step is:
1.Use OdinV3.10 Auto root and Unlock bootloader
2Use OdinV3.10 install TWRP
3.Delete dalvic, data, chach and system file
4.install LineageOS V20.0 J7ELTE
5.And install BitGapps Android13
6.Reboot stuck at boot screen

i update to INS ROM (V6.0.1) because BRI version not support 6.0.1

The alphaversion is from december 2022 and the last messages are 4 weeks old.
Will there be other new roms in the future ?

Last Updated 2022-11-302on my J700M this rom is perfect but there are only 2 bugs which is the bluetooth does not work and the SD card does not appear otherwise everything seems to work fine. folks who are having volume controller issues are likely to be on the J700F2Found a bug: Everything seems to be working fine except for volume controls. And it is not limited to calls this time. It does not go above 0%, but any music player app I use outputs at 100%. Can't reduce. I am not sure if you are aware of this or not, so attaching a video, should help.2Y
