Thanks for this. Will try it out and report.

I thought we weren't allowed to include any gapps with custom ROMS? Just my understanding of things. Thanks again!

Nice rom my man not a single issue so far and smooth install. Thanks for sharing.

How does one obtain all the features of "OK Google" Detection? Such as on all screens and trusted voice? Thanks.

I am very sorry to do this, but the generic instruction "use latest vendor image" is inadequate.

1. It is not always straightforward, because when one person writes "latest" and doesn't update for 5 weeks, it's not the latest anymore. its just as easy to upload or link to the appropriate image. I have gone through the process of extracting the IMG several times with different ROMs and have been frustrated by getting it wrong when I am definitely following the instructions.

2. On the flasher's end of things, it gets messy when trying out different ROMs. we end up having duplicate vendor images with different names, some meant to TWRP, some meant for fast boot.

3. Personally, i've given up on finding the best ROM and simply have been sticking with the ROM that most directly explains exactly which vendor image to use and makes updates the most straightforward. If you want people to use your ROM, consider that.

please consider providing a link to the vendor image this rom is meant to work with.

sorry to be a d*ck.

you can all yell at me now.

OK, used Open Gapps Aroma and selected to install Google Search and Google Hotword Enrollment. Worked to get all choices back (From Google App, From any screen, and Trusted voice).

You really don't need to install open gapps packages, simply download it from Google Play

Cant get the OK Google to work. Even when I press the mic icon it just freeze
Just installed from Google Play and works fine.
