ok, I suggest taking the phone to someone who has more knowledge, agility and adaptation on these kinds of issues in androdid.
So he can do the tests and checks necessary to figure out what state the phone is in, and hopefully, fix it.

(or try to restore a xiaomi android stock using windows system)

There is one problem that I am facing since PE 12. Whenever someone calls me, Google dialer doesn't show the name of the caller(the caller's phone no. is saved on my device).
It shows like Caller Number & My Number.
Eg.- The person who is calling me phone number is 1234567899
My phone number is 2345xxxx89
So whenever I receive a call, dialer shows (1234567899 & 2345xxxx89).
Please help if there's any fix.

No matter what i do i cant get booted into fastbootD to do the super empty image.
i do the command fastboot reboot fastboot
Rebooting into fastboot OKAY [ 0.000s]
< waiting for any device >
fastboot: error: Failed to boot into userspace fastboot; one or more components might be unbootable.

Any suggestions?

I ended up reflashing stock rom, everything works fine but still cant enter fastbootD.
is there a workaround for flashing the super empty img? any other way than fastbootD? or any way to get fastbootD working?

I have read the guide and the guide said:

1. Boot up PixelExperience recovery
2. Go to “Advanced” -> “Enter fastboot”

From what I've seen you have installed a kernel compiled for wayne (MI 6X) in sprout (MI A2), quite reckless.

No ? the github page explicitly states support for Mi A2 and in the AtomX dev page, the dev working on this is described to be a Mi A2 dev, and their profile states that they own a Mi A2. If anything it is the exact opposite, from what I can see. They are identical devices anyway (Chinese vs Global release), considering the dev is Bangladeshi doubt they can get access to the China only Mi 6X.

The source code is compatible, but the
compiled are for a different version of phone.
If they are the same device, it explains why there are no compiled specifically for Mi A2.

P.S. Personally, I would prefer to have specific statement for compiled.

I have the same problem. I've tried deleting data and resetting contacts app, and saving the caller number and my number as a new contact, but to no avail. Hopefully you are more successful than me in solving it.

The problem did not occur with a different SIM, also it was ok when i turned off VoLTE

Hey guys!

I follow the install guide by the letter, but after "fastboot flash boot recovery.img", it sends my phone into bootloop (google one logo for a few sec, then fastboot). Fastboot still accessible (with commands from my PC too), but I cannot reboot into recovery. After a few reboot attempts, I can reboot into system, and then "adb reboot recovery" takes me to stock google recovery.

What could go wrong wrong?

I think it's probably because you're not on the a10 when flashing this recovery.
After flashing the recovery to the boot partition, Be sure that you press the volume up + power button to get into recovery mode. I faced the same problem as yours before, and this should work.

Only one I have used is the scarlet kernel. Seems to work fine, your mileage might vary. Use the osscam + qti + dynamic version.

Th same bug is happening to me too, since Saturday or Friday night (I woke up and the notification was already there). The notification comes from the Google Play services app. Does anyone know if downloading the latest gapps zip and flashing the update manually will make it go away?
