do i really need to flash the firmware after installing the rom?
btw many of my installed apps crash after the new update installed.
is there any way to fix that without losing my data

The same thing happened to me, with the added bonus of not having access to the Internet, be it 4G or Wi-Fi. Had to factory reset and reinstall everything but now, the ROM is working. I suspect dirty flash does not actually work in this case (from the previous build to this one) because there are too many important changes, but I could be mistaken, since I know absolutely nothing.

btw i would like to have some customisation features to this rom such as changing font and i noticed that the wallpaper and styles section is really buggy now. when we select a wallpaper the button will just disappear.

You probably needed to clean flash, it was mentioned in the blog ;-;

go in app info, permissions and enable network. Apps should open so. But some apps don't get internet access, so, you need to Uninstall and install again and everything go OK
I have just flashed(clean) the latest release. Can confirm that the scroll issue has been fixed!
This ROM, for me, is now PERFECT!

Can anyone confirm me if PixelOS rom have qs internet tile with wife, data and hotspot built into it?
I been getting this "system isn't responding" issue quite often now and I'm tired of it. Is there any update coming to fix it or else I may have to choose alternatives. But I hate to reset my phone
when will Feb 2023 update will be available to download. It says in the source changelog that 14 feb 2023 is the latest build but when I click on download latest build I get the jan 29 build.

There have been changes related to this and I do not experience this issue on my test versions. I would expect this to be fixed in the next version.1

Yes we do have Quick Unlock, you can find it in Settings > Security > Press the Gear Icon next to "Screen lock".
We ship "Camera Go" by default. By disabling the "pre-installed camera" if you meant to ask if you can uninstall Camera Go, no, you cannot. You can however use "Miui Camera" modules (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/useful-mods-for-custom-roms-mojito.4494371/)
