you should have adb and fastboot packages installed then you can follow the exact same steps written on the PixelExperience Wiki (or the universal method)
- Open Terminal
- Flash the PE Recovery (fastboot flash boot recovery.img)
- Boot into recovery (fastboot reboot recovery)
- Install via SD Card or Sideload (Apply Update -> ADB -> adb sideload rom.zip)

Thank you for the response! One last thing, I will install fastboot using

sudo apt install android-tools-fastboot

And adb using

sudo apt install android-tools-adb.

Anyone else having problems with the latest PE+ 12 build? Mine started to get problems every time the screen turn off it starts to get unresponsive, and once it stays idle for some time, the phone starts to reboot after some time.

I'm pretty sure the issue is being caused by some faulty update from some system app from playstore, but I don't know which one exactly. The problem only starts after the screen goes stays off for 15+ seconds, if I use the phone constantly the problem doesn't happen.

Is there a way to debug what's causing the constant reboots? The rom was working perfectly until last week but know I'll probably have to uninstall if I can't resolve this because the constantly reboots is draining my battery very fast.

You can go to Settings/Apps/All apss, then set setting to hide system apps(defulte). All system apps than you updated will showen here. Disable them and restart your phone. Now check, if your problem solved, check one by one and unistall update of that app, if not, problem is from another thing.

Turns out the problem was my SD card, that for some reason was not reading it correctly. After formatting the card again the problem was gone
