Very cool everything but the wifi is simply unusable. At 10 meters, the phone can barely see the wifi and I can get max 5mbps. I also have a galaxy s8 with LineageOS on it and it sees wifi at max and the speed is also very good. I didn't have this problem with the stock rom, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.

Double tap to wake is working, SHealth would work with a modded apk I suppose, but heart rate sensor will not work

I tried changing the bootanimation, both by using an external app and by manually changing the bootanimation.zip in system/product/media. But when I did change it, it won't show my custom boot animation, instead it shows a silver shining "android" text animation. Any idea how I can get my custom animation to run? It would complete my "Watch Dogs mobile" look

Alright I've now manually upscaled all the pngs to the screen's native 1440x3040 resolution, and given the -rw-r--r-- permissions. All seems well and my custom animation seems to be working now. Thanks for the help guys!

Was browsing the PE roms section and came upon someone mentioning that this rom is available and addresses the battery and heat issues. So I'm definitely giving this a shot now. Hopefully the work profile works on this rom. Doesn't work on pe rom.
