It's due to users flashing other stuff such as gapps that modify old system state. Users get ErrorCode:: kInstallDeviceOpenError caz the new update did not meet storage requirements due to old slot being consuming more space than it supposed to.

Dynamic A/B partitions aren't designed to be modified after a system upgrade. This isn't gonna get fixed unless there exists another gapps variant. Note that users will still get boot issues on the next updates.

Does this mean that I'll get this error again if i try to dirty flash the next update (when available) through twrp instead of the updater?

crdroid 9 with android 13 is not out yet, IIRC the issue is caused by your phone thinking it's a Google Pixel and so when it chcecks for updates it gets the information that there is android 13 available already. You probably could disable the notification just like any other notification, but it won't stop your phone from checking for updates.

Works without any problems on Android 12 and 13. It is fully functional magisk module. This is the Miui camera port

I had a Redmi Note 8 and 10 and never seen the 48Mpix mode on the GCam. But I know there was this mode on some phones

do i need to update my firmware first when coming from an old version like that ?
if so, should i use the latest firmware version as a base for this rom?

Yes, I believe you have to update. I used the latest firmware from global, it was the version ending in .10.
