Just flashed PE+. ROM running well. Battery life will need a few days to assess. No major issues apart from Bluetooth calls as there's no sound during phone calls

Merry Christmas XDA Note 10/+ users

A new build has been created and released for you all to install.

Changelog as follows:

- WireGuard integrated into kernel.
- Works on latest and older 12 firmwares
- Vendor partition reverted back to EXT4 from EROFS so now can be edited by the user.
- F2FS filesystem support restored
- Dynamic Encryption based on recovery (If TWRP is used, encryption will be disabled on flash)
- Pixel Experience Recoveries are shipped, for user to flash if they want encryption.
- OTA support included in all builds

- Do note if you switch between not using encryption and using it, a data format is REQUIRED.

As some of you may be using Lineage recovery, installing the build will encrypt your data and you will be forced a data format. Backup your data and do a data format or simply switch to TWRP if you don't want headaches.

No tested yet, are u recomened this for daily using ? What about netflix, do u have HDR ? :) what about battery and photos - its comprare to samsung stock app ?
Bluetooth calls are the only issue i have noticed. I do not use Netflix. Battery has been fine for my usage and photos are what they are for a 4 year-old phone.

Thank you very much for giving a new lease of life to an older phone. ROM works well for now, and all biometric unlocks work. DSU install does not work, and the Google Files app tends to list all system apps under the "Installed app" tab after root and mods, but no big deal. Play Store is certified with Zygisk + Shamiko and no USNF needed, all done with a patch for GMS. However this identifies the phone as "angler" aka Huawei Nexus 6P to Google. Is there any way we can revert this ourselves?

DSU install is not intended to work, device doesn't support this.

Since this spoofing is embedded into the framework of the rom, there isn't (at least an easy way) of removing this.

Thank you Expressluke for this very good ROM. This ROM is very fluid and, after 2 days of use, I haven't encountered any problems. Lygisk installed on top and I can also use my banking applications as well as mobile payment ! Excellent ! 👏👍

Maybe a good idea to simplify your installation instructions so n00bs can both install your ROM and root their Note. I was a long time between rooting my last 'rootable' phone (S6 Edge+) then having my SM-N976B for almost three years without root, so pretty much had forgotten most of the how-to on installing custom ROMs. Thing is, I'm confident there's folks who aren't so clever when it comes to flashing smartphones, so if you aren't too busy an easier to understand step by step guide for how to install your ROM would be both greatly appreciated and also beneficial to you. Why? It would cut down the amount of help requests you're getting.

All the radio capabilities work from my end, so you must of messed something up user-side when flashing.

It's also extremely rude to talk to the maintainer of the ROM like that, no one owes you a single thing in terms of a working product, you didn't pay for anything to be completed or worked on, the maintainer has done this for the community so how about you take your pathetic boomer attitude and bugger off, it's obvious you're an angry older man so just go back to the pub where you belong and keep drinking.

    Rom issues;

The installed pixel launcher seems to cause heavy lag to the system, I switched to lawnchair and have had no issues so far.
Wow, I just made an account to thank you for taking the developer in protection. People all around the community usually do act like the world owes them something. These developers are doing an amazing work in providing us with FREE software, and doing the work billion dollars worth companies wont. We should be thankful, and not act like they owe us something.

These guys provide faster updates than official channels of some companies usually do, and its really amazing the work they provide. I try to donate when I can to pixel experience, I own several devices and really enjoy using PE on them. in 99% of the cases I rarerely experience any bug.

This rom for instance for the note 10+ is amazing, buttery smooth, you can even install a fully working gcam on it and it works without a hitch.

The only bugs I have experienced so far are:
    - Screen brightness not as good as on stock rom ( if set to same brightness level, stock rom is about 50% brighter )
    - Bluetooth headphones microphone buzzing in recordings and I cant hear and cant be heard in bluetooth calls.

I hope these get solved soon, if not its also ok. When I remember back when google released pixel 6, the bugs on that software were so bad, phone was unusable.. And they have thousands of developers working on just the software. And here we have one professional, and he manages to do a better job.

Once again, whoever the developer is, providing us with this amazing work.

    Thank you!

Regular non Plus version of PE is now available to download and install, check the first post for links.

OTA support has been added to the PE (non Plus) build and will be a valid way to update to future. (Next PE Plus build will include this too.)

Note: this can be dirty flashed over PE Plus if you already have that rom installed.
