Hey @expressluke,
Is there any chance to get the [email protected] camera mode working on the S10+?
Currently, camera HW freezes upon trying to init into it –

I have just installed March update (OTA), and checked, reminder notifications still not working :(
Neither for Keep, nor Google Assistant...

Can anyone please check/confirm this issue?
Thanks!

Installed latest PE Plus update which had been released 3 days ago. Bootloop!
Can I downgrade? Is there any solution?

EDIT: I don't know what went wrong using the in-built OTA updater from 2023/02 to 2023/03 release. But I was able to fix it by formatting everything and reflashing 2023/02 release, then OTA updating to 2023/03 release and finally flashing Magisk.

On latest build, when opening the app drawer and doing a search, emergency provider crashes:

I would suggest to try to get the APK (apkmirror) of both the apps and install them. If it’s only a problem of those two apps, that should fix it.

Just tried it, didn't work.

As far as I could figure it out it is related to the fact that com.google.android.gms/.chimera.GmsIntentOperationService is disabled to stop the battery drain caused by spoofing a Pixel phone (to benefit from free unlimited photos in Gphotos).
If I install root, enable gms service, uninstall root, reminders work, but I end up with battery drain...

Do notifications for reminders in calendar/keep/google assistant work for you?

Thanks!

I currently main an S10e besides my "project phone" Mi Note 10. On that phone I just installed az AOSP-based custom ROM (Android 13), which I really do like. So, I am thinking on flashing the S10e (Exynos) with a custom ROM too (PixelExperience 13).
My question is that is there anyone who flashed custom ROM instead of the OneUI 4.1 on the S10e? Is it better performance, battery and features-wise (under features I mean e.g. Cameras being most important.)? Can it be used as a daily as well as OneUI?

Hi there! I have noticed a few ms delay when using Galaxy Buds2. Also the fingerprint scanner is a bit slow. Is there also a guide on rooting?

When I flash this rom from TWRP it boots fine. If I then reboot into TWRP (I don't make any changes) then "reboot system" from TWRP it goes into a bootloop.

I've tried this on both the PE+ versions from Feb and March. Same issue. I've wiped, formatted data and clean installed every time.

I recommend you use the PE recovery supplied with the rom for best compatibility. If you're going to use twrp, disabling encryption is recommended to avoid twrp messing with the data partition.

Got the rooting to work, you just sideload Magisk (rename the .apk to .zip) using adb while in recorvery.

As for the delay, it got fixed after using it a couple more times.
The fingerprint scanner is still finicky, slow and buggy.

This ROM works fantastic but i have 3 little problems,

    1
When i activate hands free mode on a call the volume is extremely low,

    2
When i plug a HDMI cable to the phone via an adapter the phone screen appears on the monitor or TV but the frame-rate of the system gets so slow and the system just crashes when i open any app with the HDMI cable plugged

    3
Some pixel live wallpapers just don't work, and if you apply one of those wallpapers you will have a black wallpaper and after a couple of minutes the phone will return to the default wallpaper idk if that's a ROM problem but i put it here

As for the fingerprint it works well but i have to slide my finger trough the fingerprint reader to register a new fingerprint, tapping with the finger does not work well and you end up getting a fingerprint timeout but after registering my fingerprint it just works fine in any way, the recognition problem its only on the fingerprint registration screen

if you are not gonna use the phone with HDMI This Custom ROM is freaking Perfect and feels so smooth and great without counting the volume problem on hands free calls

i recommend this rom because i've expected more errors like NFC or Face Recognition not working and other sensor related problems but all the sensors seem to work perfectly

Thanks to the devs and mantainers for the great works with this ROM, Stay safe and have a great day :D

Encryption on the unofficial ROM will be enabled when PE Recovery is installed and disabled if you have TWRP installed when flashing the ROM. Switching between unencrypted and encrypted states requires a data format.

    Important Announcement!

Pixel Experience is going official for Galaxy S10 series!

That's because u used pe recovery. Pe recovery is why it lags so much and overheats. Just reinstall with twrp and u should be fine
Fixed in official builds which will be rolling out soon

    Merry Christmas XDA S10/e/+/5G users

A new build has been created and released for you all to install.

    Changelog as follows:

    - WireGuard integrated into kernel.
    - Works on latest and older 12 firmwares
    - Vendor partition reverted back to EXT4 from EROFS so now can be edited by the user.
    - F2FS filesystem support restored
    - Dynamic Encryption based on recovery (If TWRP is used, encryption will be disabled on flash)
    - Pixel Experience Recoveries are shipped, for user to flash if they want encryption.
    - OTA support included in all builds

    - Do note if you switch between not using encryption and using it, a data format is REQUIRED.

As some of you may be using Lineage recovery, installing the build will encrypt your data and you will be forced a data format. Backup your data and do a data format or simply switch to TWRP if you don't want headaches.

As promised, regular non Plus version of PE is available to download and install, check the first post for links.

OTA support has been added to the PE (non Plus) build and will be a valid way to update to future. (Next PE Plus build will include this too.)

Note: this can be dirty flashed over PE Plus if you already have that rom installed.
