Hi,
After January update I have few problems.

- The most annoying - music volume level doesn't go back up after notification, so I have to stop/play the music to get it back up to normal level.

- Player in notifications changed from Android 13 player to Android 12 one (from the one with big play/pause button on left to all controls at bottom) for many apps (for example Deezer).

- If you set battery graph to usage in last 24 hours. The graph type changes but still shows since last full charge.

1. I don't experience this on plus and standard version.

2. Mine's still got A13 player on Notification

3. On standard, it updates every 2 hrs of usage. On plus version it shoes mine accurately.

(I did clean flash on both installation)

Can't install this new update PixelExperience_Plus_ginkgo-13.0-20230108-0931-OFFICIAL.zip via ota. After reboot opens recovery and says no found room or something like that and try to instal itself load rom to data/system_updates. But I can't find this way and need instal with adb?

After install Pixel Experience 13 from January build Redmi Note 8T not starting anymore with any Pixel Experience builds - only LineageOS 18.1 but after magisk install system not starting anymore. What I should do?
Tell me someone, I can wipe "vendor" partition? I was think that this partition cannot be wiped.

I have few suggestions to devs for next builds:

1. Add a working MIUI camera app(ANXcam) or optimized GCAM for this device.
2. Add an option to remove until xx.xx time for battery on quick settings menu
3. There could be some optimization about quick settings generally, some texts are behaving weird in some languages.
4. Add an FM radio app, yes it's not used much but it can come in handy for some situations.
5. With the latest A13 build, no longer can connect some enterprise wifi networks properly. I tested with college wifi which is authenticated with TTLS-PAP, it's buggy. I mean after the first connection it can't connect afterwards. I have to change the certificate setting to trust on first use every single time after disconnect. But it's inconvenient.
6. Fix the "charging rapidly" text showing even if normal non-fast capable charger used. This was the problem in older builds and still exists.
7. Separate the charging led light and low battery led light setting.
8. If adaptive brightness setting configured to set brightness once when screen is turned on, when someone's calling screen becomes pitch black if the phone was in pocket. It shouldn't change brightness if screen is woke by a call, in my opinion at least.
9. Status bar icons seems buggy. Whenever new notifications recieved, the icons slide to right from clock. It looks weird after some time.

I'm justing come to give the suggestion about the PE for ginkgo to come with the ANXCamera installed (which I never used personally, need some tests) and the previous comment said that. If ANXCamera does not please, the user can just deactivate, like the current camera app.
I don't know how much work this can be

Unfortunately not, the Note 8 2021 uses a Mediatek Helio G85 vs the regular Note 8/T which uses a Snapdragon 665. It's basically a completely different phone on the inside.

regardin first point, I was also experiencing this problem. I did a wipe and clean installation again and its not a probel anymore.

Same here, google wallet with NFC stops working. Maybe google banned ROM fingerprint

With the latest February update SafetyNet Test now passes.
Thanks Dev's for sorting this out.
The only issue I had with this update was with the Phone app which had to be set back to factory and then updated via Goole Play. For a three year old phone (8T) this software is great.

Afer flashing the PE recovery and reboot to the PE recovery, I'll always get "The system has been destroyed".

TWRP 3.7.0 does work and can install PE, but why is the PE recovery not working?

Sadly not, ota updates aren't working without a working PE recovery... But you can dirty flash a full rom zip with TWRP to update to latest version manually.

solution for this is to use old recovery file from build 23/01/08
