Sadly not, ota updates aren't working without a working PE recovery... But you can dirty flash a full rom zip with TWRP to update to latest version manually.
Are you facing the same problem?

i found the solution, take the dtbo.img files from pe rom you download before, and then flash it with fastboot after you flash the recovery.

Command to flash : "fastboot flash tdbo tdbo.img"

and then reboot

fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img and get the vbmeta.img from any custom ROM.

Last update is really good on willow.
Everything seems a lot much more reactive and fluid.
Boot time has been improved.
Battery indication has been fixed.
The notification trail (also the volume bar) are a lot more reactive and have seen some style/responsiveness improvements.
And battery usage seems to have been lowered.

So thank you for this really good update and all the efforts associated with. Loving this ROM.

this is the best experience i have had with the redmi note 8, everything is smooth and fast. The only problem I have is that the microphone doesn't work for me to send voice notes, record audio or calls, but when it records a video it does work. It's the only bug I've found.

Hi. Is it possible to make the vibrations more sensitive when pulling out the notification bar? For me, on a real Pixel, I feel vibrations, and on Custom Rom, unfortunately, with the case on, I feel practically nothing

Steps 2 update pixel experience version ( no version upgrade ) when pixel experience recovery is already installed & magisk installed:



0.) deactivate magisk modules + Fingerprint / Pin of android

1.) extract new version of pixel experience on pc

2.) patch boot.img of new pixel exp-version ( extracted ) with new magisc-.manager resulting in magisk_patched-252000__xxx

—->> transfer boot.img to ext. sdcard + patch it with magic manager

— >> transfer magisk_patched-252000__xxx to pc

4.) a.) reboot to recovery

b.) update pixel experience recovery via side load: fastboot flash recovery PixelExperience_gingko_13.0-20230504-0304-OFFICIAL.img

5.) fastboot sideload PixelExperience_gingko_13.0-20230504-0304-OFFICIAL-zip

6.) fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-252000__xxx

7.) fastboot reboot

8.) activate all modules already installed within magisk

9.) create PIN / fingerprint for android
10.) reboot

Hi all,

I flashed pixel experience 12 for my ginkgo device last year with PE recovery, and everything was working fine. I was using dual SIM and both slots were operational.
Recently, i decided to clean install PE13 plus. After flashing the PE updated recovery again, and the 13 plus build, i found everything to be working fine again, except the network. Wifi works fine, but it says "No connection' against the SIM. Same behavior is observed for both SIM slots. Upon searching for network manually, it successfully finds the available networks but I'm unable to register to the relevant network.

Could i have missed something during the installation or is it a ROM related issue? I see that it works fine for most in the thread, but a handful few also seem to have a similar problem, but not exactly the same.
