No, this version will not work in the NE version. The NE version is codenamed Lisa and also has official lineage os, you can find the respective thread here:

Be careful with Xiaomi names. Use eg GSMArena to compare the phones:

You will see that they have different chipsets (and displays) - therefore, flashing a ROM ported to one to the other, wrong phone will brick your phone

Btw, you are looking to the wrong subforum on XDA - this is for 5g (without NE), aka Renoir (Xiaomi's codename)

5g NE = New Edition, aka Lisa, has its own, different subforum, find the ROMs for Lisa there:

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G
Скажіть, будь ласка, що це за компоненти - super_empty.img
vbmeta.img. І чи потрібно їх встановлювати? Чи достатньо лише цих (boot, vendor_boot, dtbo)?

I can't activate Google Assistant's Hey Google Feature. It's greyed out "the function is not available on your device".

I clean installed with Nikgapps Core + some Addons (Digital wellbeing, Setup Wizard, Markup) + Magisk (should be irrelevant, problem existed also before root)

Thinks I tried so far:
- Making Google App a System App
- Delete Cache/Storage of Google App and Assistant

This wasnt a problem with LineageOS 19.

Can someone confirm that it works?

I remember it was offered (standard in LOS20) but who chooses that?
Anyone who is ready to try new things 😋 😂

I don't know how it works on LOS, but the one implemented in MIUI are far better than buttons, once you're used to them. And you gain a little more of screen to show other graphics.

Anyway, just a personal decision.

it's been a while since i flashed custom rom and a lot has changed. i know my question may sound stupid but where do i save the downloaded files dtbo.img, vendor_boot.img etc for adb to find and flash them?
also does minimal adb still work for flashing?

thnaks

Weird, I only use Shamiko with a configured DenyList. Universal Safetynet Fix broke for me after a couple of days, Shamiko seems to be reliable and I have no more complaining from GPAY.

What modules do you have installed currently and have you configured DenyList (don't turn DenyList on, just use the application select part)
Thanks, i don't know what Shamiko is and i didn't try, so its possible working with it.

So, as far as I understand, GPAY doesn't work withouth Magisk, or you didn't even try without it?
I don't want to install Magisk, so I won't even try, if it's not possible. There is a lot of Info that I don't want to reinstall or maybe loose.

Another question, how is the overall performance? And the camera?
There should be options to make it work without magisk but I didn't try that route.
IH8SN should be able to get it working but it requires tweaking I didn't want to get into. Out of the box it didn't work for me.

Overall performance is great, battery life as good or better than MIUI, snappy and clean UI.

I didn't love the default/LOS camera, but I used the GCAM linked a couple replies above and have been using that without issues and good quality results.

Overal I can definitely recommend LOS, most of the issues are Google based (Safetynet being unfair to custom ROMs).
If you want a Google focused ROM I can recommend Pixel OS, the Mi 11 Lite isn't supported anymore, but there's still an older version.
On that everything works out of the box, Google thinks it's an actual Pixel phone.
