I am on A13 CrDroid latest on kebab device but it has issue with Allow all the time location service permission issue. the prompt is just missing from the ROM...therefore i just can not launch certain apps.... However the option does work in the ROM as some apps like Zego Sense is able to set it up for itself. But manually not possible. Also some apps just crashing after launch like google Wallet and HSBC UK banking app. ( no root)
I use nikkgaps. Bolt Driver Ola Driver Freenow ride sharing apps also having some location permission issue...

I have been having issues installing any other ROM since I bricked my phone the other night. Thankfully I was able to flash this. I was previously on Android 11 crDroid so I'm glad this one is working for me. Only problem I've had so far is one already mentioned, when USB Debugging is on I cannot see my phone on my PC.

I have been having issues installing any other ROM since I bricked my phone the other night. Thankfully I was able to flash this. I was previously on Android 11 crDroid so I'm glad this one is working for me. Only problem I've had so far is one already mentioned, when USB Debugging is on I cannot see my phone on my PC.

Try turning off USB Debugging and turning on Default USB configuration to File Transfer. Also make sure your phone is unlocked when plugging it in.

If u use kebab can u send me vbmeta.img and copy_partitions? i was trying to extract it with payload dumper on linux ( i dont have windows) but could not. And Gdrive links does not work.

I dont know honestly. There is in the instruction. But i have already swapped three different roms and never flashed any vbmeta.img or copy_partitions. Only the firmware - if neccessary- and the recovery.img and then adb sideload the rom.zip. I think flashing those images only neccessary if u come from stock OOS.
But i have got some issue (see my post #61) last time flashing CrDroid thats why i was asking.

Sometimes the phone change the ringtone volume to zero. So it show me a ringtone symbol in the statusbar.

Any solution for that? Or will that be fixed in the future?

It is the standard systems profile with ringtone muted at default.

I'm currently having some trouble installing this rom.
I am on crDroid 8.7 (On my IN2017) and attempting to sideload the rom without wiping the data results in adb printing "* cannot read 'crDroidAndroid-13.0-20230305-instantnoodle-v9.2.zip' *". I would try the clean method but because touchscreen based recoveries don't seem to work on OOS12 firmwares, i can't make a backup before wiping, and I am unaware of any non-touch screen based recoveries that are still being made.
TL;DR Are there any specific instructions I need to follow for upgrading from crDroid 8.7 to this on my T-Mobile OnePlus 8

I can you only say how I flash it on the 8t/kebab.
Coming from oos12 without clean flash oos13, but clean flash crdroid-9.x.

Do I need to wipe data before it lets me install crdroid 9? Or do i need to go back to OOS12 to flash crdroid 9?

Corrupt file re-download it maybe.

I checked the SHA-256 hash and they match. I looked inside the zip and there's no updater script which is what I think is causing the issue? the firmware updater has one
