Latest release has a new Launcher (Pixel Launcher) instead of Paranoid Launcher. Maybe that is the Problem?

Yes, maybe the problem comes from there....
I will do a clean flash and hope the issues go away ;-)

I have some random reboots and battery drain, so I guess a new launcher will not solve it.
I might test with both available firmwares to see if there is a difference.

I just installed this ROM and so far I only experienced one small problem. I don't see any indication whether VoLTE and VoWiFI work. Does anyone know how to check if they are active? (or even a solution if they don't actually work). Thanks!

Look at your call history. There should be a little wifi icon behind the called number. Thats the only way I found for now. Not sure what icon is set for VoLTE but it shows VoWifi for sure

I discovered 2 problems. My phone does not ring and it does not show that I was called, but I can call. Also the battery seems to drain a bit too fast.

Strange I don't get any of these problems. Maybe a clean flash will fix it

Works great, fast, the installation is idiot-proof provided you follow the steps exactly in order, but I have some stuff to add, the screen flickers at low brightness and the xiaomi camera app is a bit glitchy, otherwise great. Thanks for the free photo/video backup, and the peace of mind that the chinese won't track me any longer!

The MIUI camera app has elements that still makes requests to their servers though. Specifically to tracking.miui.com and sdkconfig.ad.xiaomi.com.

Is there a way to change the font? Idk why both droidsand bold and regular are linked to roboto-regular.

Just wanted to check as I am at the stage where I can unlock the bootloader after waiting the hours.

I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro on official rom MIUI Global 14.0.2

My understanding is;

Unlock Bootloader
Flash this recovery img recovery-sweet-20230511.img
Reboot to recovery
Flash latest Xiaomi FW for my region from the mifirmware site
FLash the rom from the pixelos site
Format data
Reboot

I had many such spurious warnings when I messed with some developer options. Setting Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale to Animation off caused several apps to crash. After I found out that it is really not recommended to disable animations this way, I set it to the lowest value (0.5) and the issues were gone.

Have you tried to disable the Anti-flicker feature in the Quick Settings? In my experience it seemed to do more "harm" than good.

Hey, no i dont have any default gallery set. I switch between simple gallery pro or Google photos. Developer options were untouched.

Another bug i found -
When you open a YouTube link in WhatsApp, and the video pops up in a window to start playing.
After this if you rotate screen for full screen video playback, the video starts flickering and stuttering. It also starts showing patches of video instead of the full screen. I couldnt screenshot this because as soon as you touch the screen the video shows up properly. Otherwise i could see patches of video playing

Thats the steps I did and it worked flawlessly. I used orangefox recovery but sweet works also
