On 2023-05-13, I installed latest build dated 2023-05-10.
The rom is working fine for me.
Since a week, I'm encountering a problem about witch I can't say if it is due to the rom or to something else.
When I turn off my phone (sweet) it automatically turns on after a few minutes (1 to 3).
Should some one have an idea on how to solve this problem
I have the same problem. I've used past 3 builds of pixel os and all have the same problem. Not everyone has this issue so don't know what the issue could be.
I've tried a clean install and it did work for a day but then the problem came back
I use recovery to switch the phone off as this works
It's strange how it works for a few days but then won't stay switched off. It's like a flag is being set when charging or something

Currently on pixelos latest build with Sleepy kernel that came out the day before yesterday, latest fw too. It's averaging around 0.5%/h when idle and wifi/data turned off. Is there a kernel that can do even better in terms of standby drain? Thanks!

Hey,

The screensaver while docking and charging doesn't work. AOD only shows the black and white lock screen with the clock. Can you activate the screensavers in the next build please. Also the transition from home screen to lock screen and the ripple effect should be smoother.
One last query, does reporting bugs on this forum help the developer?

Thanks

Is anyone else encountering the issue of screen maxing out brightness for a short period of time before locking the phone? It doesn't happen every time I lock the screen though.

Yes, also on clicking power off my phone restarts instead of shutting down. Even then i noticed the screen maxing brightness for a moment.

It's strange with the restart bug when shutting down..some people have it and others don't
I have the problem that the phone won't switch off.
Could be an issue if not rooted

See first the 1st post on this page.
On 2023/06/05-06-07, I had to use twrp for shutting off my smartphone (Redmi Note 10 Pro).
Since 2023/06/08, autoreboot has disappeared without doing anything.
I can't explain the source of this very strange "problem".

This excepted, the PixelOS rom is working fine, for me.

Hello Aryaan!
I've been using PixelOS for my RN10Pro for last 2 months. Everything is fine but the front camera full screen mode is just abnormal. Let me attach the image for your reference and also I would be grateful if you include the option of getting the Dolby which was available in MIUI.

@Aryannn999 is it possible to include the following app to this rom or recommand related app?

1 screen recording, with record mic selection?

2 camera have live photo (which is take a normal photo, it also include like 5 to 10 seconds of video), I know google camera seems able to do it, but seems only take 2 seconds of video, too short, samsung seems have 5 seconds)
thank you.

Am not sure if it only applies to this build, as I've only just installed the ROM for the first time. An irksome thing for me is that using my trusty old Wifi on/off toggle widget, it goes to the system setting, rather than simply performing a toggle action. Perhaps I'm missing some obvious system setting here?
I don't know but if you look at the available Quick Settings tiles, there are also separate tiles for Wifi, Bluetooth and Mobile data as alternative to the combined Internet tile. Maybe that helps.

Where can I find the decrypted file?
I have one that worked for me. But search a little bit because I don't want to cause you issues

Can the Wifi setting be dragged/put onto the home screen? Did think of it before, but couldn't see a way to do that (I'm using the Nova Launcher, if that's relevant)
There are probably many ways. One way that works is using the Sesame integration in Nova Launcher. It's not free but you can test it 14 days for free.

Is this bug fixed in August update? I read the changelog but not sure if this is part of the bluetooth fix which is included.

    Aug build is released ❤️🔥

    3. Y la luz nocturna falla demaciado
You would be kind to use ENGLISH, the official language of this forum.
    Thank You in advance.

I remember finding the firmware version from CPUZ app.

Anyway after updating to the latest PixelOS (31/8) i noticed some drain on battery, but after one week battery circles are normal again and rom is running perfect.

Weired, thats exactly what I did. Downloaded file via updater and installed it same way. But really no problems here
Side loading via recovery worked fine. I'm using Pixel OS Recovery, though, not TWRP, so maybe that's the reason. But no problems doing a dirty flash via recovery, so that's good.

PixelOS is an AOSP-based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies. We aim to provide an experience similar to Google Pixel phones with numerous performance enhancements and a small amount of useful additional features.

    Code:
/* Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    Our Featurelist

    Requirements
    • Flash the ROM only with PixelOS recovery or my build of the OrangeFox recovery (My build, not the official versions)

Hey, I've read your messages about the app lock, the power menu on the lockscreen, and some other complaints so I have gone ahead and released a beta update at

    6
On my device I've found that sometimes my phone wasn't going to deep sleep because of smp2p_sleepstate wakelock.
I've decided to disable this kernel module and see what happens. I'm using this configuration since few days and I'm rather happy with the results - I don't see any regressions after disabling the module and my battery drain issue is solved. At least from this particular reason.

So I'd like to share the build.

As always, You're flashing this at your own risk. I don't know if this will work on any other rom than PixelOS (most probably will work. I'm not sure about miui based roms. Feel free to try).

It's regular Vantom kernel, compiled with latest commit 3c6e92509e0ad1aca8419db926b2cc82b1c5acb1 (HEAD -> courbet-12.1, origin/courbet-12.1).
Following changes have been made in comparing to defconfig:
    Diff:
    1c1
    < CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-VantomKernel"
    ---
    > CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-VantomKernel-Cthulhu-fhtagn"
    55c55
    < CONFIG_LTO_CLANG=y
    ---
    > CONFIG_LTO_NONE=y
    702c702
    < CONFIG_QCOM_SMP2P_SLEEPSTATE=y
    ---
    > CONFIG_QCOM_SMP2P_SLEEPSTATE=n

For best results use this with Naptime app and Google play services doze option checked.
