Hi, update done.
With previous build, I could flash magisk.zip, but now, with Android 13, flash zip from recovery doesn't work.
Is there another method to root ?

Hi, I didn't have time to update XDA thread for Android 13 update, I'll try doing it tomorrow and will elaborate current state of ROM and what we've planned for later.

I'm happy to run test builds if you need any volunteers

One question! I'm from india so should I flash indian miui firmware or global miui firmware ?

a13 issues that i found:

• no face unlock feature
• no always 90hz feature
• no update tab in settings
• all custom features are not translated to russian
• no pixel keyboard sounds

You can force 90hz in developer options.

Wrong thread mate. You'd have to ask the developer of OrangeFox recovery and from what I've seen, that thread is basically dead at this point.

Thanks mate but the way i see that i am asking if a particular feature is working on this ROM or not hende i believe i am in the correct thread

There is an unofficial thread for Orange fox for this devic and it is somehow active and i will ask there as well

I get ya mate. I've tried unsuccessfully to get OrangeFox working on the previous build of PixelOS so I'm assuming it definitely won't work on this release.
The annoying thing is, OrangeFox worked perfectly on PixelOS 2 releases ago. I used it and loved it, hence why I tried so hard to get it running again on the previous build, but all I did was mess up my PixelOS installation and I had to further and flash everything from scratch.

Looks like my device is bricked. I was on EliteRom. I followed the instruction as mentioned. Flashed boot.img (fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img) then fastboot reboot recovery, then format from there then "adb sideload firmware.zip". At this stage the the sidloading stuck at 27%. I waited for more than 10 minutes and then unplugged th cable. Then somehow the sideloading continued in the phone part although PC showed error since cable was removed. Then I selected "Reboot to recovery". It didn't boot to recovery neither showed any logo. Since then it's dead. PC maked sound on connecting and displays "USB device not recognized". Mi flash tool also detects it but unfortunately gives error on flashing ROM.

I need help on this if this is a fixable issue. Thanks in advance. By the way bootloader was unlocked already which is obvious .

Check Device Manager > Ports > If your phone shows up as Qualcomm QDLoad9008. It's bricked.
Try to flash with Xiaomi Flash Tool. If unsuccessful, stuck with "EDL authrization error". 100% you're screwed.
Now either go buy a EDL flash tool (~ $2 per attempt, I can't to name them here) or find the russian guy on telegram then have them remote in your PC to flash (~$30 I think).
Seriously, no way around, Xiaomi makes EDL flash stupid hard.

Guys have respect and gratitude to the developer, remember that he is doing an excellent and difficult job without earning anything for it. If you're not happy, learn to code and create your own ROM.

I do respect the dev. I just got a shock when I found out the hard way that I can't downgrade. I never actually meant any disrespect. It was just the panic.
I was able to flash 13 again and have to set my phone up from scratch but I've got backups so it won't take too long.
With that being said, if anybody knows a way of downgrading, I'd love to hear it.

Why would you want to downgrade? This version fixed the gestures randomly not responding, which was a huge problem with android 12. The previous pixelOS version also had a problem with randomly restarting the phone, freezing apps and overall extremely slow. This version actually works as a daily driver (even if its a beta). So in my opinion its A LOT more usable compared to the old Android 12 versions.

tho it still got some problems:

* Face Unlock not available

* Cant turn off Auto brightness from control panel (Newest update actually fixed the random auto brightness spikes while in dark rooms. So the auto brightness is actually reliable now.)

* 64MP mode doesnt work at all. Switching to 64MP with the MIUI camera app "softlocks" it until you force quit it through settings.

How do I enable the corners? I've looked in settings and must have missed it
