The latest February build needs miui 14. The developers telegram channel has all the info you neee but if your flashing the latest February build you definitely need miui 14 which is available on his telegram group
I see, thank you! Btw, how is the MIUI 14 firmware size on the telegram group only 84mb when it's 4gb online?

4.0 GB - Recovery ROM (with firmware )
6.2 GB - Fastboot ROM (with firmware )
84.5 MB - only firmware (from ROM) . Then there is no need to flash official Xiaomi Rom

----------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALATION:

Make sure you are using the right recovery. Read #recovery

Clean flash (coming from a different ROM):
• Download the latest MIUI 14 firmware (compatible with your phone region)(#miui14-fw)
• Download CUSTOM ROM (PixelOS)
• Reboot to recovery
• Flash the firmware
• Flash the CUSTOM ROM (PixelOS)
• Format data
• Reboot and voila!

Hello, I have a Redmi note 10 pro (sweet) with 128 gigabytes. I have been using pixelos ROM for about half a year and everything works fine.
Recently bought an RN10 pro 256gb for my wife to install pixelos immediately after unlocking, but ran into a problem. In recovery and in pixelos the touch sensor does not work at all. After that i returned stock rom, touch works in it. I found information that last year Xiaomi started to put a different sensor (fts-ts). Will the new sensor support appear in upcoming releases?

Hey, I'm facing some network issues on my redmi note 10 pro (sweet), maybe you could look into that.
Confirming that only with data not wifi with February built. Noticed that there are some interruption on radio steaming(with two different apps) that there were not on January built. Anyway rom is great and we are waiting April built.

Latest version released, April 13th Build
They've swapped to Paranoid launcher as pixel launcher was causing some people serious battery issues.
Dirty flashed latest build and everything working and smooth.

Got issue while downloading, it says authentication required. Tried to dowload twice and when it is about to finish above error is displayed at the very end.

I think You surely tried to download using your smarphone android.
You should make a search on the web with subject "authentication required for downloading android".
There are quite a lot of explanations about this subject.

If You don't went to wait download the file using a PC.
It's what I did and I transferrred the file from my PC to my Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Thanks mate it worked just flashed the rom and it feels solid. Can you suggest something for the sound as it seems low.
I hope someone else can help You with the low level sound you encouter.
With my Redmi Note 10 Pro sound level is high, and then correct, for phone calls and listening to music stocked on my SD card.
But I don't use streaming, nor videos, ...

Wath do you like in this rom?
1.The material you - fantastic, that is one of the reasons i came here in first place. MIUI doesn't care anymore about my phone, instead they put a fake meterial you option. Plus more bloatware came on my phone which led me to jump onto custom ROM.

    2. on my research, this ROM had OG MIUI camera and i am impressed on how the developer just pulled out from the stock ROM. That was a deal breaker. 🔥

    3. Performance dude - those Xiaomi people thought my phone can't handle UI animations and they purposefully turned it off and just took off the MIUI optimization settings from dev settings. Once i launched this ROM, i never thought android 13 was this buttery smooth on my phone. Plus i always wanted a variable refresh rate and this ROM has that.

    4. My phone happens to be a popular phone for custom ROMs - 😂, mainly because most people use it for daily driving. So i thought to myself as i am got adventurous : if many people are experiencing these ROMs then what's not stopping me?

    5. I personally don't think i even missed anything much from switching from stock to this ROM, instead i missed everything that android has to offer and i was stuck with the stock for about 2 years MIUI 12 to MIUI 14. I personally think this ROM has more unknown features that google gives to improve everyday life of my phone.

    6. Overall, so far the experience is awesome 💯 i give everyone to try this ROM out.

Great. Do u know if dirty flashing the A13 version from the Evo X A13 version will work?
I don't. I dirty flashed the previous version coming from ArrowOS. Didn't have any noteworthy issues but can't vouch for any other route. I remember having to add the network permission to many apps but that was expected and no trouble.

That's because the launcher got reversed to Pixel Launcher. Please read the changelog
Update resetted my startscreen and reactivated the Google app when sliding to the right. I disabled this and the clock/Date on the Main screen. Now all App symbols and my weather widget are gone. Not a big deal but shouldn't an update leave those settings just like they are? Installed update via updater not recovery.

I guess that applies only when using the default launcher. I have been using a different launcher, so the replacement of the default launcher had none of these effects here.

I would install a different launcher because I never like the default launcher on any device. My favourite is KISS Launcher but if you prefer a more conventional launcher with almost infinite customization options, I would suggest Nova Launcher.
Yeah I'm trying Lawnchair now. I didn't use it before because of a small buggy animation when going into recent apps. It's fixed now so giving it a try.

PixelOS is an AOSP-based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies. We aim to provide an experience similar to Google Pixel phones with numerous performance enhancements and a small amount of useful additional features.

    Code:
/* Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

The PixelOS August update is here.

Downloads and changelogs can be found here

Seen a few of you who had issues with smp2p_sleepstate. Should be fixed in this build. Enjoy!

On my device I've found that sometimes my phone wasn't going to deep sleep because of smp2p_sleepstate wakelock.
I've decided to disable this kernel module and see what happens. I'm using this configuration since few days and I'm rather happy with the results - I don't see any regressions after disabling the module and my battery drain issue is solved. At least from this particular reason.

So I'd like to share the build.

As always, You're flashing this at your own risk. I don't know if this will work on any other rom than PixelOS (most probably will work. I'm not sure about miui based roms. Feel free to try).

It's regular Vantom kernel, compiled with latest commit 3c6e92509e0ad1aca8419db926b2cc82b1c5acb1 (HEAD -> courbet-12.1, origin/courbet-12.1).
Following changes have been made in comparing to defconfig:
    Diff:
    1c1
    < CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-VantomKernel"
    ---
    > CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-VantomKernel-Cthulhu-fhtagn"
    55c55
    < CONFIG_LTO_CLANG=y
    ---
    > CONFIG_LTO_NONE=y
    702c702
    < CONFIG_QCOM_SMP2P_SLEEPSTATE=y
    ---
    > CONFIG_QCOM_SMP2P_SLEEPSTATE=n

For best results use this with Naptime app and Google play services doze option checked.

Quick hotfix update for the July patch as I wasn't sure if we would have another Android 12 release as 13 is right around the corner.

A mirror for the build can be found here.

    Changelog:
    - Always on Display and Ambient Display will now run at 60hz
    - Fixed an issue with the microphone being too quiet in some apps

    - Import the new display calibration file from MIUI V13.0.10.0.SKFEUXM

    - Added high touch polling rate
    - Disabled IORAP
    - Updated the Adreno stack

So does PixelOS Recovery support data decryption? It's a little hard to tell from this wording (since it is also by definition a custom recovery).

And if it does, is there a way to use it to mount decrypted /data and tar its contents up, with SELinux labels etc.? I'm willing to get my hands very dirty if it means I can avoid setting up the phone by hand again.
Hello, I've compiled a TWRP build that supports decrypting /data on Android 12 as well as supporting EROFS. It's a very early build but it does the job and I haven't run into any issues here. Enjoy!
