It was my mistake, apparently I left the phone encrypted and the twrp I had didn't support encryption, reinstalled and changed the twrp to a more current version and now it's fine againIn the latest update, the pixel launcher does not agree to change the wallpaper and the icons, nor does it allow you to uninstall or reinstall the pixel launcher application
The flashing instruction for the custom recovery (updating to newer build) link above is WRONG.View attachment 5838815

Can I follow these steps to update my February 2023 version using TWRP? Will I lose any data in the process? The flashing instruction for the custom recovery (updating to newer build) link above is WRONG.
Below is the correct one.
Updating to a newer build (dirty flash):
Wasted a lot of time because of this.
- Wipe cache, dalvik, and system_ext
- Flash ROM zip, Magisk (optional), and reboot
I can't guarantee, but it should be ok.Can I follow these steps to update my February 2023 version using TWRP? Will I lose any data in the process?

You can try nova launcher
twrp-beryllium-v3.7.0-A12-V2.img - This was the recovery which was recommend with this ROM, not the NSE. You can also try latest PixelOS Recovery which comes with each build.I've tried multiple recoveries including the twrp-beryllium-v3.7.0-A12-NSE-V2 that was recommended for this rom. Yet whenever i try to boot into system it boots back into recovery. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?
I managed to install the rom with the NSE recovery already. Then flashed this recovery that you suggested. Is that sufficient now or do i need to wipe and install everything again for a bug free experience ?twrp-beryllium-v3.7.0-A12-V2.img - This was the recovery which was recommend with this ROM, not the NSE.
