Hello, I found that I can't grant access to read notifications to some apps (it seems to me on those installed through an apk file). Did someone know how to remove this block? On Android 12 I haven't this issue.

EDIT: I solved allowing restricted setting on the app info.

Noticed on twitter there was a PixelOS hotfix for the end of the month. Or is that only for other phone models?

Hello everyone, can I get some advice? I'm on the latest version, clean flash and everything works great, best pixel ROM by far for me, and battery life during the day is good...but the idle drain over night is crazy! I've been going to sleep with 27% and wake up 7hs later to a dead phone. The battery consumption is marking mobile network as the highest consumer, even if I'm on wifi...has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance!

This feature on an android with 6 GB RAM and more is complete nonsense that will do more harm than good. It's a marketing function.

Hello everyone, is there any way I can download the pixelos firmware to pixel experience?
The look of the recovery is similar, but are they the same?
And do I need to put miui first and then pixels
(the pixel experience (in the latest version) states "firmware to MIUI 13.0.6 Global")
and is there a problem with low autonomy and heating of the phone in this firmware,
as well as sometimes a "trotting" pixel launcher, which is solved through force stopping the app

Hi,
I would suggest to download all the specified files listed in the:-
Flashing Instructions
Clean flash (coming from a different ROM):

• Download ROM from the link above
• Format data, wipe data/cache/metadata
• Flash FW from the link above
• Flash ROM
• Reboot recovery
• Flash magisk (Optional)
• Format data and reboot.

I installed 4 differn`t A13 roms earlier to day for fun and i used V13.0.9.0.SKHEUXM firmware without any issues.

The only thing i would advise not to do is "Re-Lock your bootloader" when installing Stock firmware using miflash, if you have a flash fail/error when coming from a Custom Rom and you lock your bootloader this could lead to a hard brick and flashing the incorrect Stock firmware for your device could also lead to a hard brick.

When switching/dirty flashing a different rom i would always suggest to backup all your apps and there data first with Migrate-GPE and keep it in a safe place,

Download and install the XXX-rom with the required files, whilst in recovery re-flash either OrangeFox or TWRP before re-booting, once completed "FORMAT DATA".

If you pop over to the Evo-X thread i have some posts on their,
as Evo-X is my Daily driver and i ❤️ it.

I hope you have fun.

Thank you, but what about heating the battery in this firmware and the launcher itself?

Hi,
As said i am a Evo-X user, their was an issue with there launcher, this was eventually traced back to the Stock Launcher and GOOGLE them selves, the Evo Team then created there own launcher,
as for the battery heat, check your apps to track down the Culprit,
also the KERNAL could be causing the issue.
Different roms use kernels that best suits their needs, balancing performance over longevity,
maybe try a different rom to see if your faced with the same issues.

Hi, I updated from 20221117-1659 to the 20230122-1037, dirty flash, and all my apps could not connect internet even if I grant them the internet permission, what' wrong with that?
And is it possible to add OTA update support like it was in Android 12, ADB update could be troublesome especially for the magisk update.
Many thanks.

This could be related to an addition mentioned here: https://blog.pixelos.net (although they say that manually enabling should still work, so who knows).

You might have to clean flash.

I installed this rom a while back and made the mistake of not checking if the simtool kit was included, found out the hard way it's not there when I was trying to make a payment for my shopping at the supermarket.......this was after I dirty flashed from POS A12, had to roll back very fast. So now my question is...... do I need to clean flash it and can anyone confirm for me the sim toolkit is present?

    Someone told Miui Camera? 👀

After a week and some debloat in Google stuff battery life is really good with this rom, with almost no idle drain (2% at night) and no bug encountered. LMC gcam with PQ-F3-pro-r3.xml is giving really natural results for pictures so I don't miss miui Cam so much. One small feature request would be to be able to quick toggle with one touch (as it is for wifi and data), and maybe autobrightness toggle alongside the brightness bar which is a very convenient setting (but maybe it is far fetched for an aosp rom) .
    1
what did you debloat?what settings for battery?
im getting about 2% per hour idle drain
My it's quite high! Well I disabled Google assistant, android system intelligence, device policy, device health services, android accessibility suit among other stuff. Also in dev settings I disable data always on, and set my sims to 3g / 4g only. also beware of applications using precise location or location in background : I only use sensor location when app are in ise
    1
Could you share specific Gcam and xml file Link please?
not sure it is allowed to share the links, but look for Hasli: LMC8.4_R15 in celsoazevedo.com and the conf file I've mentioned (PQ-F3-pro-r3.xml in config files link into the cam page) . Pictures doesn't look oversharpened and shots are captured quite swiftly

Ps : sorry for being a bit of topic, but since camera quality seem to be important for some users of this rom who liked miui cam:

BigKaka: AGC_8.4.300_V9.5 with the conf attached based on PocoF3-Leica-3e.agc customized by me should be giving you good results. some other conf files for F3 and this gcam version ain't working for me, dunno if it is rom or firmware related ^^

Is that the firmware I have to download at the first page of this thread? can I install the firmware now or I must also re-install the ROM? I'm from Vietnam.
Yes, the one from the first page. You can flash the firmware without re-installing the ROM.

PixelOS is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, themed icons, google sans fonts, Monet color based system wide theming, boot animation), a fork of OG Pixel Experience with improvements on the top of it. Huge respect to Pixel Experience team for their work, thanks to them for making this ROM possible.
In short a fully functional Pixel Experience with just the right amount of essentials.

    Code:
/* Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    Improvements over PixelExperience

    Device Specific Issues:
    None
