[ROM][13][OOS CAM][OP7Pro] crDroid v9.9 [19.09.2023]

Found a possible issue with navigation bar buttons. Assigning the double-tap or long press function of a key to the "open/close menu" function does not do anything. It definitely doesn't open/close menus. ;) It can be tested by opening the Messaging app and trying to use this function. It should open the three-dot menu, but it doesn't. This functionality did work in the Android 12-based crDroid 8.x, but its's not working in the A13-based 9.x. Some Google weirdness between versions, maybe? In any event, this probably wasn't caught because almost no one assigns the open/close menu function to a button anymore... except me. (I find it handy to use when at the home screen. I use Nova Launcher, and the open menu function will open a menu to select the system settings, Nova settings, and wallpaper. That's very useful to me.) This bug is on both the OP7Pro and OP9Pro, thus it stands to reason that it's device-agnostic. It's not a high priority bug, to be sure, but I'd be ever so grateful if it could be found and squished. Can someone advise me on what I might be missing in the Monet settings to get my Accent colors to show up as the deep Blue and not the pale almost white as shown in the Lockscreen clock and the switches in settings. Every time I do a wipe and install I have this issue and then eventually it will work where I guess I finally hit on the right combination of options in the settings here. If someone could tell me what I am missing in this menu or another I would greatly appreciate the help.

Never mind, just flashed the June 2nd update, and the problem was solved.

Hi, after this update my phone gets stuck on bootloop. How can i downgrade to the previous version of the software without losing all my files?

Any help is appreciated.
Did you followed the instructions on the first page ?
  • Boot to recovery
  • Choose apply update and Apply from ADB
  • Now install crDroid zip via sideload and reboot
  • adb sideload crDroid.zip
  • If you had gapps, reboot to recovery and sideload gapps.zip and reboot
If not, what did you do ?

Yes, I followed those instructions and was still stuck in boot loop. Tried downgrading after exhausting all the other options but still stuck in bootloop.
As I cannot wait for the fix, I switched to a different ROM.

I followed the instructions and didn't bootlooped.
  • Were you on the correct firmware on the last version ?
  • Did you try to flash Magisk ?
  • Did you flash the recovery ?

The app "Android System Intelligence" is crashing a few times a day. I tried reinstalling with the same version as this ROM with apkmirror but that didn't help. Does anyone have the same issue?
