In TWRP you could (in the past at least) flash zips without a computer. I've been off from modding for a while so I don't know if something's changed.

You can still flash this ROM from TWRP too, however, the OP recommended to use adb sideload with the given crDroid/Lineage recovery. He has added TWRP flashing support in recent builds I think, but you have to try on your own risk.

With ANDROID 7.0 and later, there is a new partition scheme, A/B partition. More on this here. On that scheme, dedicated recovery partition is not needed and the whole idea of recovery is becoming (or has almost become) redundant.

Consistently getting an adroid intelligence has stopped error. Happens a few times a day. Additionally pixel launcher won't install. something seems very different about this newer version launcher wise.

I just installed 20230312 build. It's wunning good apart from a few minor issues. Double tap to wake is not working. Long press on fingerprint to unlock is also not working, the setting would just revert to off despite setting to on. These bugs are also in the latest LineageOS 20 too. The workaround is to enable gesture of single tap and setting it to ambient display. The other minor annoyance is the Orange State warning at the boot screen, but I flashed abl.img from the latest LineageOS 20 and it's gone now. I'm sharing LOS20 abl.img if someone else wants it too.

Smart charging usually allows you to stop charging at a set percentage.

I can only tell you where it is in Evolution X, but I think it's the same.

You need to have unlocked bootloader (I also unlock the critical flashing as well: fastboot flashing unlock_critical)

Download F.20 firmware zip from here. Once downloaded, extract it. Then boot your phone into fastboot mode. Run the bat file from firmware. When asked for modem, choose no (that's what I did, although you can choose yes too).

I noticed a small bug in the smart charging.
It seems that phone does not stop charging at the selected point If you plug in the phone and then it is rebooted while being plugged in. Maybe there needs to be a script at boot time to reinitialze the smart charging if it is plugged in?

there was a small improvement done to that part today
will see with next build
