Maybe it's worth a comment on the forum when something major gets discontinued.
It is, IF you go there to download something. All I'm saying is that most people don't go to the download page more than a couple of times during the lifetime of a rom. You make your choice, you install the rom, then you get OTA updates and never look back. If that's the only way to find out, lots of people will miss the memo. On the other hand, it's probably two seconds to post here as well and then everyone knows.
I can assure you that even less people check this XDA thread, and I don't like the idea of hosting information on a 3rd party platform that is out of my control. This is also why basically all my stuff in this thread either points to my website or points to PE's website. Same thing happened to me. I just clean flashed the latest Pixel Experience recovery and rom.not worked .. tried all ways ..still same error
You're both doing something wrong. Just do by instructions step by step and it will be ok.
It was working fine on PE 12 as well, but you probably needed to uninstall a language model update that was auto installed.

Install magisk if you haven't and then this module, which is a fork of the original Universal SafetyNet Fix.
Magisk is the thing that gives you root. You need to have the bootloader unlocked and flash it through the recovery.
safetynet-fix unless passing SafetyNet is absolutely essential for you at the moment.
