Install new PE recovery for A13, then sideload unoficial bild, then without rebooting, immediately, sideload official bild. It works for me.
It has worked for me without a problem. First you update via ADB from the unofficial one, when it finishes and without rebooting, you update via ADB from the official one. Then you reboot the device.
Thanks .. i did it by reflash bootloader .. unofficial .. then official ..It has worked for me without a problem. First you update via ADB from the unofficial one, when it finishes and without rebooting, you update via ADB from the official one. Then you reboot the device.

It happened several times. The missing photos were not in the recycling bin too.
PS C:\adb> adb devices
List of devices attached
2b38ca01 sideload
PS C:\adb> adb sideload ROM1.zip
* cannot read 'ROM1.zip' *
You need to replace the "'ROM1.zip'" with the name of the file in your machine.Thank you for the update.
Unfortunately I install the new Recovery without problem but when I try to instal the ROM (the unofficial one first) I receive this message:
PS C:\adb> adb devices List of devices attached 2b38ca01 sideload PS C:\adb> adb sideload ROM1.zip * cannot read 'ROM1.zip' *
ROM1.zip is the file name! Just cut for simplicity! You need to replace the "'ROM1.zip'" with the name of the file in your machine.
The easiest way to do this is just to type "adb sideload " and then drag the file to the terminal.
You need to update your platform-tools (the one that contains adb, fastboot, etc.).Thank you for the update.

2. Install latest PE recovery instead of TWRPI have android 10 with MIUI, want to install a13 build, correct me if I'm missing anything:
1. unlock bootloader
2. install TWRP
3. format data
4. install ROM - do I need install unofficial build first then official one?
Do I need PE recovery?
Sorry for stupid questions but I'm doing it first time and getting lost with all those guides.
Follow my guide and my guide only. Read the whole thing carefully. The guide states clearly that PE recovery is required.I have android 10 with MIUI, want to install a13 build, correct me if I'm missing anything:

It's on PE's website, right next to the download button for the ROM.May I know where I can download the latest PE Recovery image. Please provide link. Thank you.
If someone needs Pixel Experience Plus functionality, it is worth waiting.I don't think it's worth waiting knowing that when the next version comes out you can upgrade.
Found it somewhere on a forum and it worked for me:Installed latest update, now when entering phone app it shows this warning:
View attachment 5816175
(this device is not conpatible and it's possible that phone calls don't work correctly)
Functionality wise the phone works well, i checked making and receiving phone calls.
Every gapp is updated through the play store.
That worked, thank you!Found it somewhere on a forum and it worked for me:
- Open Play Store
- Search for the Phone app
- Click Uninstall (this only uninstalls updates because it's a system app)
- Open Phone app
- Close Phone app
- Go back to the Play Store and click Update (this will bring it up to date again)
- Open Phone app
Should work fine after this.
Cheers
Partially, yes, tried to clear cache from Android System Intelligence, that solved it for a short while (like a reboot would). Tried to uninstall updates from Android System Intelligence as recommended in the changelog, unfortunately that didn't help. I didn't actually try the clean flash option as this is my everyday phone and didn't want to set up everything from scratch for a "maybe". Cheers
Thanks @jjpprrrrThat means you are still running PE 12's recovery somehow. Try going back to fastboot, flash the recovery, and reboot to recovery again.
