Works 100%

The upgrade from 12 to 13 sounds pretty simple, using those steps.
The part that's still unclear to me is, is it an in-place upgrade that leaves all my apps intact, or does the system end up with a plain OS and I need to install all apps from scratch?

jjpprrrr's official documentation talks about "partition scheme has been switched", which sounds a little like data-loss. it also asks to "Format data/factory reset", and that would delete all apps, right? is that steps not required?

I stated it clearly in the first section of the changelog.

• You cannot upgrade from android 12 builds. Formatting data is required.

Not sure which part caused confusion for you.

Honestly, I've had the rom for two weeks now and it's completely stable and functional. A big leap from MIUI with android 12x, I don't think it's worth waiting knowing that when the next version comes out you can upgrade.

Xiaomi dropped us at android 10, miui 12 for our phone is not based on Android 12 but in android 10.

Android 13 vs android 10 should be a nice leap

Can anyone tell me if with the mirror to TV have the option to mirror with the display off? Because I mirror a lot of footbol to my smart TV and on miui I can turn off the display and keep mirroring

im getting the error installing the rom.
i installed the 12 no problems... then installed the recovery to 13 and try to sideload 13.zip
and im getting the error: recovery: error in/sideload/package.zip (status 1)
any help

with the new Android 13 version, I see a lot of intermittent reboots. sometimes even the reboot itself stopping after the google logo, when the flying dots create the 'G' logs, it gets stuck and reboots. sometimes the OS comes up to the login screen and is blocked (can't unlock) and instead it reboots immediately.
and even if it allows me to log in, it typically reboots within a few minutes?

so for me, the system is unusable. is that just me? or is there something broken in general in the Android 13 version? I wonder, because the other reports above haven't reporting anything bad about that new version.

With the 'partitioning changes' that happened in the 'unofficial' image installation, is there any danger in reverting back to the Android 12 version? any special steps to take?

I am using the latest ROM without any problems. Repeated reboots on polaris are often caused by a stuck power switch.

Yeah usually if you hold it from mid/down side of it ..at least in my case, that's why I press it mid/top nowadays

Hi, after upgrade to Android 13, notification vibration seems to be stronger/longer than it was in 12. Every time I receive email, I am running to grab my mobile because I think that someone is calling me, just to see new email notification. Is anyone facing the same?

Latest rom is very good but battery drain is considerable.
When charging phone is very heating.
When finish call mobile internet is stuck and only restart make this work again.
Lux sensor is agressive and have problems with backlight(LCD after unlock is too dark )
On miui there were no such problems.

13 beta on mix 2s. Has been working great, thank you very much. Feel very smooth. One odd thing I notice is that while using Google TV app, I have to enable it to be able to see the app icon, even though it is installed. It's quite annoying. Anyone has similar problem?
