thank you that worked. I patched Nov beta boot.img and I fastboot flash boot --slot all magisk.img then fastboot reboot and flashed Kiri kernel through ex manger and all mods are intact and have Kiri kernel. thx again for the tip tip

now I have to wipe my phone again to install ricedroid UGHHH

I flashed also with Ex Kernel Manager and loose root. Hast anyone an patched Kiri Kernel?

you have to take the official november boot.img from the official pixel 6 pro rom.
patch it with magisk, flash it, install exkm and flash kirisakura.

battery life was same as stock if not worse until I installed kirisakura

But if you patch the boot.img from the official stock p6 rom and flash it to custom rom, wouldn't it just bootloop?

Of course is difficult to compare battery life between users but I'm quite confident that an optimized kernel has some benefit. Most likely you had some issue causing battery drain, a wakelock or other reasons, because the experience with stock kernel has been acceptable for me. I'm now testing kirisakura, did you enable any profile, or just keep the default setting?

Anyone else having this problem with the front camera when I went to use facial recognition after the first 24 hours. This is all the front camera sees


Edit: restarted phone and cameras working again. Still wondering if this was a bug? Anyone else ran into?

I had the same issue (with front and all back camera except telephoto). Same thing, reboot fixed it. I was trying to figure out if it was related to rooting with the Canary build. Or maybe the fact that I was on the QPR1 build and when I wiped and flash Stock Nov maybe it didn't wipe properly. I am on the 64-Bit QPR1 right now. I am going to wipe and install Nov with the Android Flash tool and install Rice again. Going to run without root for a few days and see if it happens
