Yes i first also flashed it over a12 but it didnt boot up even after then i flashed the mentioned firmware and its working like charm

Hey @windowz414,
Have you tested the VoLTE in latest firmware(Miui 13/Android 12) of this device.
Because currently i am using PHH's gsi and the mediatek IMS app is only working on R vendor(MIUI 12.5/Android 11). So VoLTE is only available if the system is flashed over Android 11 vendor.

I understand, and i am asking about this ROM only. That if VoLTE is working if i flash this over latest firmware? I just mentioned my current system, and the workarounds i am using for VoLTE. Is it not allowed?

Sorry to be salty, but just follow the goddamn installation instructions. It says to install A11 firmware prior installation. You MUST NOT install this over anything MIUI 13+.

- Switched to Kobayashi kernel, my own kernel based on rosemary-r-oss kernel (You still have to install custom recovery to boot this ROM).
- Evolution X 7.6.2 (Tapsilog)

Hello, is it necessary to be on the latest A11 MIUI ROM? Currently, I am on rosemary_global_images_V12.5.13.0.RKLMIXM_20210824.0000.00_11.0_global , and whenever I try to flash this ROM using TWRP, it says "Error Installing Zip evolution_rosemary-ota-tq1a.230205.002-03111858-unsigned.zip" . Should I be in the latest build of A11?

I successfully installed this ROM, and it all looks brilliant, but sadly I have exactly the same problem that I had with Pixel Experience; that is, I cannot send text messages. I get "Can't send message with (mobile provider) - error 0"

I am able to send texts ok with the stock ROM.

Edit: @windowz414 the SMSC number displayed in both the messaging app and *#*#4636#*#* is correct. I've read about it needing to be converted to a PDU format - might that be relevant?

Further, I've reflashed riceDroid (12L) and it sends texts ok too. I'm wondering if perhaps there's a difference in the builds due to Google's underlying rcs development & changes and that's somehow effecting my phone/SIM/provider combo??

Edit: One difference between the riceDroid ROM (where sending SMS works) and this one (and PE?) is VoLTE. VoLTE is not enabled on riceDroid. I've read reports of people having to disable VoLTE to allow them to send SMSs. That might explain what I experienced but I'd have to reinstall this ROM to find out for sure.

Do people think VoLTE could be the cause?

I was still using EVOX ROM, and I've discovered that CTS Servers was down LOL! Now it passes normally.

But on top of that I've discovered a new problem. When I'm watching videos on any platform, after a few seconds the video stops and audio continues. Is there any fix?

It might be some hw acceleration compatibility issue. Just switch to sw decoder.
Did you install miui 12 before flashing this(I did not so can't say if it's an issue with the rom)
Edit: this is a kernel issue with kernel, this happens less often if device is cold.
