SparkOS is an AOSP based ROM, packed with many features without sacrificing stability and performance.
In short a fully functional operating system as stable and customizable as it should be.

What's broken?​

NOTE: If you have fp scanner lag, disable fp ripple effect from settings.

Clean flash:​

- Backup your internal storage files
- Flash TWRP with treble support (Recommended TWRP)
- Install vendor--adder.zip (Click here to download)
- Download ROM from the link
- Flash ROM zip
- Flash TWRP (Optional)
- Format data
- Reboot and voila!

# Updating to a newer build (dirty flash):​

- Update via OTA Updater, or
- Flash ROM zip (sideload)
- Reboot and voila!

This one has more customizations and features, also has the pixel launcher and dialer already installed.

Thanks for this ROM, first impressions seem good.
Only thing I had an issue with is that on clean install with TWRP on OS boot it rebooted to recovery and needed to be reset, setup and then to flash TWRP.

Just switched to ArrowOS last week and new ROM comes out, glad to see our phone still alive.
On SparkOS website i can read :

"We have our OTA updater app inside the ROM, so you wont ever miss an update when it comes out."

Is this rom official or unofficial ?

Yes, unofficial update by dirty flash, official by integrated OTA

Voice match (ok google) doesn't work (the same issue in the spark os a12 build).
I've read it can be because google is not a system app. (Trying this may fix it?)

Just found another bugs. After rooting mtp connection lost (same issue on Corvus OS, anyone haven't know how to fix it); After rooting there are no icons in the apps list in the stock launcher.
About first one. After rooting persist.sys.usb (~similar toggle name in build.prop) was set to none. I've changed it to mtp,adb with no result.

Hi,

Switching from ArrowOS to this rom, great job, everything work as expected.
Most of features are present , very fluid.
Hope this rom will be continued and updated with monthly security patches.
I'm not interested by cosmetic changes or pixels arrangements or rounded corners.
It's a big chance to have developpers supporting roms for this (old) phone.
Let's go back to main purpose of a phone with security and speed.
