Sounds like a bad download. Did you use PE recovery? You can also try twrp, contrary to what the install guide suggests. Also I'll be able to provide quicker help on telegram at @rtd1250E: failed to verify whole-file signature

i think you can add to the known issues that the wide camera doesn't work
from what i can see, the entire system works flawlessly
except camera and also something weird when someone calls me
even if the person is on my contacts list, it just shows their number with the region code, it's not comparing the rest of the number to confirm i have their number saved

eh, wide camera never worked. I am experimenting a bit with that though but even just the main camera working at all is good. As for the caller issue it sounds like a rom problem, try different dialer app maybe
Loving the ROM however I've hit a problem after several days of trouble free use. I saw this issue in the last version also so I fresh installed the latest a week or so ago. I'm currently in a bootloop which keeps happening until I intervene and can boot into Safe Mode (holding Vol Down when booting). From there, with no networking, I can use the phone in a limited way. As soon as I switch on any networking (WiFi or Data) the phone reboots and enters the bootloop again. I've tried booting to PE recovery to clear cache and resetting networking (although that option is not available in Safe Mode). The initial reboot seems to be quite random - I was just using the phone outside with data enabled and after pressing a button in an app the phone soft reset (grey Google logo) and then entered the bootloop.
Any ideas on what I can do?

Interesting, I haven't had that happen so far but this definitely needs to be fixed. You could try taking a log when it happens, as described here:

Can I use twrp recovery to Install this rom as in the details mentioned in rom I happened to see TWRP compatibility. Also while using gesture there is slight stutter when exiting apps or opening. Maybe its only my issue as I see in new update that's fixed.
Also just asking, are pixel experience features like full features of pixel limited while using it on A70?

Yeah I've noticed that with some apps, telegram in particular
Every PE feature should work but keep in mind that the rom itself doesn't include all features from real pixels (magic eraser for example), visit their website for more info. PE makes the phone pretend it's a pixel/nexus so that the device can pass safetynet, that's the reason it shows up as that

7Status update: the new update is ready, with long awaited FOD dimming, night light FOD, corrected vibration intensity, bluetooth voip calls support, and some rom-side fixes too like Safetynet/Play Integrity + fixed first time setup crash. Unfortunately, my ISP is currently having some trouble and upload speeds are horribly low, so I can't actually upload the build!
I'll update the trees on git soon in case someone would want to build from source, otherwise just be patient.

That's the tradeoff we have to put up with currently, since we use oss audio instead of samsung's (that one had problems with Bluetooth calls over voip). I'd suggest using a pair of earphones, or alternatively returning to a previous build which used Samsung's audio at the cost of bluetooth. -

Installation guide:
1. Recommended Samsung firmware version is A705FNXXU5DVK6, but it will work on slightly older versions too.
Make sure that the bootloader is unlocked.

2. Boot the phone into download mode. Flash Pixel Experience recovery through AP button in Odin.
Download here.
Note: TWRP will not work! It does not support new A13 roms with the latest changes.
Use PE recovery for the best experience, otherwise don't complain if your phone bootloops.

3. Boot into recovery (Vol+ and Power while USB is plugged into PC)
Note: Samsung's OneUI wipes the custom recovery partition and possibly vbmeta while booting so try not to reboot into Android.

5. Flash the rom in "Apply update" menu.
There are 2 ways to install:
- On the phone: Copy the zip to a FAT32-formatted microSD card and install it in recovery.
- With a PC: Use Minimal ADB on Windows. Open "cmd-here" and type
where <rom-file> is the filename (drag-and-drop the zip file into cmd window).Code:
adb sideload <rom-file>
6. (Optional) If you want superuser access, flash Magisk in the same way that you flashed the rom.
We now have a working ramdisk so newest Magisk works fine ^^

@eniothecheesy reflash vbmeta and PE recovery, then try again.2I have been using this rom for one day and so far it is very fast and smooth, my only concern is that brightness gets changed whenever i unlock my device (I am only using fingerprint) but I enabled adaptive brightness and I am okay with it.
The camera isn't the best, but I am using both versions of GCam PMGC_7.2.014_NonPie_ V7 and GCam_6.1.021 _Advanced_V1.5.190418.1850
They are working, you can take a good pictures with the rear camera and the front one, but don't expect portrait mode to work.
But what I didn't expect, this rom actually solved some of my biggest issues with this device, the proximity sensor was very bad and now it works like a charm, same goes for the touch screen, it was not so responsive in the stock rom, also the mobile network was very very weak in the stock one, talking about battery, it was bad till I enabled power saving mode and now I am getting better battery performance than the stock, keeping in mind that my battery has degraded a lot because I am using this device a lot, so my conclusion so far is that this rom is very stable and a way more better than the stock rom, I have no words to describe my appreciation for the developer and when I have a chance I will donate for him!
