Okay, turns out I needed to reboot into Android after unlocking bootloader. I'm an idiot.

Check the version of fastboot. Yours may be outdated. If it isn't try another port or cable
Great news! It was a very simple solution and you nailed it! I thought I had installed the latest sdk platform tools. Turns out I had an old version as well that was messing with things. Thanks so much!
Alright new question. After getting installed and all setup I opened and logged into snapchat. The screen gives me some sort of weird reddish static and then goes black. Thats all I get out of the camera while in the snapchat app. I'm working on installing magisk to see if I can do hide root and make it work but does anyone have any idea why I'm seeing this? I'll post screenshots if needed.

You're welcome. Old platform tools is usually the first thing to check for when fastboot acts weird
The UI seemed pretty outdated to me, I'd rather use CLI. Miss the old TWRP days though
Is anyone using ACC on this ROM? If so, does it work for you? I can't seem to be able to set a max charging current nor a max battery charge level :/

Hello. I flashed to bluejay and looks great.
I'm working to build rom too, but it makes many bugs so I respect to this fully stable rom.
but I noticed one issues, SafetyNet fails with reason: HARDWARE_BACKED. (To use Google Pay needs Magisk + Universal SafetyNet Fix) so you will may need fix it for next update.
Thanks for great rom and keep your good work!

YASNAC shows no SafetyNet failures to me. Basic integrity and CTS profile match both pass, eval type is basic.
Might be an issue on your end.
Do you have Google Services added to Magisk Denylist? Have you hidden your Magisk app?

No I don't installed magisk. I just flashed this rom normally.
If possible I hope that SafetyNet will pass without root. : )
Yeah, even LOS fails SafetyNet on certain devices.
Anyway, if it's necessary and urgent, you now know the workaround

cDroid is ment to be not only an AOSP base ROM but more pixel based with similar GAPPS. I think it fits this ROM very well.True !
But no need gapps to have a functional android device

Have just installed crDroid-bluejay-gapps-fastboot-022623.zip
I patched the boot image in magisk first and added back to the zip
Simply installed magisk manager later.
Quite close to vanilla build, filesize alot smaller than other gapps versions. The bare minimum required - perfect. Anything else such as gcam installed from playstore, pixelefy used for dialler and such. Battery life is great, its currently 4% but we've got a broadband outage, so have had 3 devices sharing my 4G+ and H+ all day. No performance issues.

Make sure you're on the correct firmware. Being on an older version causes this issue. -

Wireless hotspot is greyed out. I can't enable it. On my old phone I could enable it. My previous phone, up until last week was a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on stock oxygen os. Wireless hot spot worked on that phone, but doesn't on the pixel 6a. Could it be rom related?
