I don't know how it's set up, but typically it's a photo taken of the print with a simultaneous activation of HBM when an in display print is scanned so perhaps that's why the device seems to run warmer than normal and the display is sucking up so much juice? Since we don't have an in display reader maybe it's causing a sensor to be stuck on?

To the guys who stayed on or switched back to the previous build, the newest build is honestly much better once you get the battery thing sorted out. Basically I just turned the fingerprint on display off setting to 0 using setedit, turned off the lock screen ripple animation as well as vibration on fingerprint entry off, and blocked the RIJ Jack and Netlink wake locks using the wakelock blocker built into the ROM and now you can see what my battery life is like. I am using sleepy kernel at the moment but I was having the issue with it and without it. I know somebody above mentioned that they didn't think the build was as stable as the previous one, but I haven't experienced any instability issues, So perhaps it's related to an app you have installed? Or maybe a module?

The one small thing I have experienced is the OemDMTrigger app occasionally force closing. I forgot to mention that earlier, but perhaps it's something you can look at if you have the time? It doesn't seem to affect anything, but I figured I should mention It just in case.

Once again, thank for your great work, we appreciate the updates and responses and look forward to future releases. There's a serious lack of custom ROMs for this device compared to my other devices, so the fact that you've built and maintained Evo for us is awesome. Any plans of applying for Official status?

It's working smooth than older version. But the gg photo has stop working when I edit photo, I hope fix it in the future ( I using the latest gg photos)

Yeah, that known bug occurs whole Evolution X devices.
Temporarily you can use other gallery app (e.g. Gallery Go) , or disable unlimited Google photos storage option , then it should be avoid crashes.

Every time I restart the device, the applications appear again in Apps Drawer => Is this an error?

The hidden apps feature was officially abolished from the March security patch.
So sorry, I can't solve it.

Is this a hot fix for the release 2 days prior? Can you tell me what else has changed? I noticed some issues and you've put out a few releases this month so I was just wondering what The changelog was. I know Google keeps changing things and it's causing problems, specifically with the pixel launcher and it's battery drain as well as heat, and I've found some workarounds but I'm assuming every rom that uses pixel features is now experiencing some issues with the April release. Thanks

Just synced to latest source , then builded.
It's fine and stable on my testing, except Pixel Launcher.
Let me know when feel glitches

awesome ROM but faced issues with the phone radio being automatically turned off during regular calls, no matter if it was set to Auto, 3G, 4G, or 5G.
had no such issues on other custom ROMs.
open to providing any logs if needed. I would love to try this ROM with the next update if the issue gets sorted out.

thanks for reports. I have no idea for mobile data/calls, but maybe it fixed at 20230506 update. Please try it.

Да сам столкнулся, есть сеть, и вдруг все вырубается, даже wi_fi, на секунду потом е сим тоже так себя ведет.

Некоторые операторы связи и среды испытывают проблемы с сетью. Например, в моем случае Wi-Fi работает нормально, но мобильное подключение для передачи данных часто отключается. И это было одинаково во всех ПЗУ и в заводских образах Google, так что это может быть проблемой, специфичной для конкретного устройства.
