PLEASE HELP OR GIVE RECOVERY THAT WORKS!

i cant flash newest vanilla rom with newest recovery 20230524!!
In recovery I get something like this this error when adb sideloading
Signature verification failed! Recovery expected newest timestamp, cant DOWNGRADE

Can you please make recovery have older timestamp than the one in ROM.zip if it can help?

I cant boot my phone now please help!

Reboot to bootloader, and try twrp to install

PS C:\adb> ./fastboot boot twrp.img
Sending 'boot.img' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.056s]
Booting FAILED (remote: 'Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error')
fastboot: error: Command failed


right now, i cant open Lineage recovery on phone, and i can turn on latest ROM that i installed 20230419 by method:./fastboot boot boot.img

can you help me=?

Thanks for the new update.
Do OTA not work for the new update? Updater says `The update check failed. Please check you internet connection and try again`. To update, do I need to manually flash?

yes you need to manually flash ,but wait, because i got error when flashing and wasnt able to turn phone on

OTA is not working anymore, in changelog you will see "Dropped Updater"

right now, i cant open Lineage recovery on phone, and i can turn on latest ROM that i installed 20230419 by method:./fastboot boot boot.img

after doing ./fastboot flash boot_a boot.img i can open OLD ROM , but i cant open twrp, and i cant flash with lineage recovery.

can you provide working lineage recovery, or a fixed NEW ROM?

can you help me=?

I think you need to flash fastboot miui rom

of course i did, this line will not be OKAY if i wasnt in fastboot mode

this restored old rom booting:

PS C:\adb> ./fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
Sending 'boot_a' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.035s]
Writing 'boot_a' OKAY [ 0.515s]
Finished. Total time: 4.021s

now i need new rom with timestamp newer than recovery timestamp - to not get error verification failed in lineage recovery

    can be ported and it works fine inbuilt. but problems are:
    1- i don't like oem apps on aosp
    2- the zip file increases in size... from 1.2GB to almost 2GB, so unless there is a huge demand i'm not gonna add it.

    own recovery, just flash/sideload the new build and that's it.

    i don't ship ota because mainly of lazyness and because ota installing takes forever, so is faster for users just flash/sideload the new build on the recovery

    it's surely a strange bug, i use BSG 8.9 and i do not have problems like that

    give me a link to the gcam were you found the issue to take a look.

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    - 20230730

    Notes
    - Don't change kernel.
    - Custom recoveries are not allowed to be used.
    - Custom kernels are not allowed to be used.
    - Inlined with NetErnels.
    - SafetyNet is OK.
    - Signature Spoofing is OK.
    - SELinux is enforcing.
    - Encryption is enabled by default so decrypting is not allowed.
    - Only use Lineage recovery to flash/format.
    - 14.0.3.0 FW is recommended to use.

    Flashing instructions
    - Download ROM zip, recovery zip and fw if needed.
    - Boot to bootloader.
    - Run fastboot update LOS20_Recovery_*.zip , according to the build downloaded.
    - Run fastboot reboot recovery
    - Flash FW if needed (reboot to recovery after flashing)
    - Format data with the recovery.
    - Click Apply Update.
    - Select your preferred method (Sideload/SDCard)
    (For Sideload run : adb sideload lineage*.zip)
    (For SDCard just select the zip from where you saved it)
    - Reboot to system

    Update Instructions
    - Download ROM zip
    - Flash FW if updated (reboot to recovery after flashing)
    - Click Apply Update.
    - Select your preferred method (Sideload/SDCard)

    everything is working... i'm using this rom since release and i finally found my daily driver rom...

    maybe you will face some lags on apps but can be easily fixed by adding some props to build.prop (i'll do on next build)

    About Official... LineageOS Requeriments are very strict and i'm not a experienced developer (i'm just learning) so i can't make this official

    So , i'll provide monthly updates as long as i have server to build it.
