why should i extract recovery zip, i already flashed it, im on NEW LINEAGE RECOVERY,

and this NEW LINEAGE RECOVERY gives error for NEW 24.05.2023 ROM, i cant install because new recovery has newer timestamp then ROM

on first page it says

Notes
- Don't use custom recoveries.

So i cant and do not need to use twrp, i wnat to install lineage rom with new lineage recovery, but new lineage recovery gives error when ADB SIDELOADING

i don't get it why do you have errors when i personally tested the installation of all 3 files with the same recovery and it worked.

extract vendor_boot and boot from rom zip and flash them and try to flash the rom again

i can't do it by myself coz i only have 500mb for the rest of the month and i'm not able to download the roms again.

once i'm able i'll upload the images or probably a new build

Can someone help me with call recording. Any idea how to enable call recording without announcement if that works. Otherwise a pretty stable and a smooth rom. Thanks!!

Please some help. It's not the first time I flash a OS but every single time it's like the first time. And after some hours trying to install it my brain is fried.

From the official web I've downloaded the OS and the boot.img. I'm trying to boot the recovery but there's no way. It's loaded into the phone but whenever I do the power+up thing it shows me the orange FASTBOOT letters.

Sending 'boot_b' (26469 KB) OKAY [ 0.615s]
Writing 'boot_b' OKAY [ 0.096s]
Finished. Total time: 0.764s

I don't know what I'm missing. This happens when I want to boot with Orange Fox recovery and with the Lineageos one. There's no problem when I load TWRP. I could try to do it through TWRP but the guide says to use the lineageos recovery...

I also wiped the phone with TWRP. But always the same. I load the recovery and I get the f... FASTBOOT screen. No recovery. Obviously I'm pressing power + up.

edit: I solved it in a weird way... I tried to install the zip but it gave me error. Telling me something about rebooting to recovery. And I could press a Recovery button so I did it... and it took me to the Lineageos recovery.

I think you didn't read the instructions

There's a zip file that you must flash on fastboot which will install the lineage os recovery and then you can install the rom

There is no support for any custom recovery and any problems caused by them will be ignored

    the build has some weird bugs for some users, so it will be available again once i build september version.

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.     Notes
    - Don't change kernel.
    - Custom recoveries are not allowed to be used.
    - Custom kernels are not allowed to be used.
    - Inlined with NetErnels.
    - SafetyNet is OK.
    - Signature Spoofing is OK.
    - SELinux is enforcing.
    - Encryption is enabled by default so decrypting is not allowed.
    - Only use Lineage recovery to flash/format.
    - 14.0.3.0 FW is recommended to use.

    Flashing instructions
    - Download ROM zip, recovery zip and fw if needed.
    - Boot to bootloader.
    - Run fastboot update LOS20_Recovery_*.zip , according to the build downloaded.
    - Run fastboot reboot recovery
    - Flash FW if needed (reboot to recovery after flashing)
    - Format data with the recovery.
    - Click Apply Update.
    - Select your preferred method (Sideload/SDCard)
    (For Sideload run : adb sideload lineage*.zip)
    (For SDCard just select the zip from where you saved it)
    - Reboot to system

    Update Instructions
    - Download ROM zip
    - Flash FW if updated (reboot to recovery after flashing)
    - Click Apply Update.
    - Select your preferred method (Sideload/SDCard)
    - Reboot to system

    everything is working... i'm using this rom since release and i finally found my daily driver rom...

    maybe you will face some lags on apps but can be easily fixed by adding some props to build.prop (i'll do on next build)

    About Official... LineageOS Requeriments are very strict and i'm not a experienced developer (i'm just learning) so i can't make this official

    So , i'll provide monthly updates as long as i have server to build it.
