Is the region locked on this ROM? I have another custom ROM on my Mi Max 2 and the region is locked to India and I need to change this to the correct region that I live in which is Ukraine. Also, is the only way to install TWRP through ADB sideload? Or can I flash TWRP by using Orange Fox Recovery so that it replaces Orange Fox Recovery. That might be a dumb question, so no one flame me for this....please.
If you have a sim card inserted, it will automatically recognize your region. You can refer to the pixelexperience thread for flashing recovery. The next version will no longer support custom recovery, so it is recommended to use LineageOS recovery or PixelExperience recovery.
Thanks for the reply. I'll need to research the thread on how to install this. Can't decide between this or P.E. I do appreciate the hard work that you've put in to keep my Mi Max 2 relevant. I know it's off topic, but I've yet to find a phone that has a better camera, and I have a POCO X3 that I use as my main phone and the camera on that is garbage. I'll be sending you a donation soon. After flash the latest 01/09/23 rom, immediately after reboot the phone goes back to recovery. I did a total clean flashing after getting that result and despite of this fact I still got a recovery mode screen.
Do you have any advice?

Due to the upgrade of keymaster, you cannot directly upgrade from the December version, and you need to format the data before flashing.
@HalifaxTe55 Can you tell me between the 2 Android 13 roms, PixelExperience Plus and LineageOS 20, which rom is smoother and more stable?
In terms of 625 performance, running PixelExperience will obviously lag behind in a certain scene.
Hi I have random problem with app crashing it is usually google aps (chrome etc) or any other application which need internet, I first try 2022 version and yesterday I install newest version with data format as you write and without magic install and problem is again here 
here is my log cat
sometimes no application which need internet works like telegram viber etc. ...
Please suggest what should I change

So gms is problem?
I just install Google play service and give all permissions so I will try again today.

this is great rom...thanks for all the work,...one thing i noticed, i like to set my screen to vivid mode but the mode settings are missing in the display settings...can this be fixed or is there and app that can boost colours without having root on phone.,,??....also if i attach a usb c flash drive phone does not see it....thanks

Curiously enough, when I was about to get the log, the gyroscope started to work as it should. I don't know if it has some relation with the usb cable when I plugged it in or maybe the fact that I did reboot the phone, or something else..

Flashing Instructions:
DO NOT use any custom recovery
- Reboot to PE recovery
- Select `Factory reset" --> "Format data/factory reset`. You phone should say that /data, /cache, and /metadata have been formatted.
- Go back to main menu and select "Apply update" --> "Apply from ADB"
- Connect your phone to a computer
- Run `adb sideload rom_file_name.zip` in your cmd/powershell/terminal and wait until it finishes
- Reboot to system
Reporting Bugs
- DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Magisk module
- Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
