Everything is great in this rom, But I tried to activate Screen off FOD in settings and It didn't work with me, The screen remains off, When I put my finger on the sensor place, I use Magisk though, Not sure If This has anything to do with the problem

I've got the bootloop problem I experienced with PE13 now on LOS20. Went to a restaurant yesterday and used their WiFi. When I'm there I switch off private DNS as it can't be used. I had a reboot there and then last night when I pressed Do Not Disturb it also rebooted. Today seemed fine but I went to the same restaurant again. When I switched off Private DNS the phone went into a bootloop and has been there ever since. At times it gets to the SIM PIN page but any keypress there makes it reboot. I'm happy to try without Private DNS but is there any way to boot properly now?

So it sounds like it's some issue related to private DNS.. try holding volume down button while booting, it should put your phone into safe mode and allow you to remove whatever breaks the system (assuming it's Adguard mentioned earlier)

Thanks for this. Booted to safe mode which has "Aeroplane Mode" set to on (by default?). As soon as I switched this off the phone rebooted. Without it off there is no access to the Network settings so resorted to adb to switch off the Private DNS with "adb shell settings put global private_dns_mode off". This worked fine and can now boot normally. Any ideas on a permanent solution or workaround for this on both PE and LOS ROMs? I like Private DNS with adguard as it's handy when using LTE outside the home.

There is a problem with brightness. Except the fod known issue that flashes all the screen, max brightness also happens when phone enters battery save mode (automatically or manually) and when tapping an action in device controls (from control panel). Max brightness returns to normal after a couple of seconds.

Edit: The hotspot problem turned out to be in the laptop and It is fully working on the phone.

Also, I tried the recording app with bluetooth headphones, and Instagram, It doesn't use its mic, It uses the phone's mic.
Bluetooth headphones mic only working in phone calls, but There is mic noise appearing for the caller

Is this possible to be fixed?
And Thanks for the great work you put in this rom.

Marvin mod of rooting galaxy a70 was in the forums....but unfortunately the post has been deleted. The twrp recovery file worked well in the guide of his. Is there a detailed guide to root my phone properly without error so I can install Lineage os.

Hotspot is working fine on my a705f, though I have the same problem with mic.

You don't have to root your phone to install it, but you do need to unlock the bootloader. Inside the guides forum you can find the tutorial to unlock the bootloader (And ONLY the bootloader), then the rest of the steps you can find in the LineageOS 19.1 post, as it provides the steps to flash vbmeta to allow installing custom software.

Also, don't use twrp as author said.

Also, can the latest update ota notification get fixed by not appearing again even if it has been installed?

I installed lineage recovery and it boots to recovery but shows a message cant load android system your data might be corrupt and then there are 2 options try again and factory reset, try again shows android dead with a red traingle and factory reset completely wipes the data and one ui boots normally, I went back to stock and I cant use samsung pass as it shows phone rooted while I havent rooted but all other apps work and play store is certified. I am not able to install custom rom. Is there any way to get past this?

I am not able to wipe system and data because when i do that once reaching recovery the phone boots to system one ui. And then later after rebooting to android i go to recovery its samsung recovery and not lineage or pe recovery.

    Thanks. Might have to go back to the stock rom because of this. Unfortently i've got people from work complaining of problems hearing me and I also require bluetooth to be connected in the car to receive calls on the go.

    So i've managed to deal with the echo problem by just slightly turning the volume down on calls to the point where the other person can't hear themselves. Looks like it was only a problem with loud calls, and I can still easily hear them with the volume down.

    Another problem i've experienced is having a call on Bluetooth in the car, while the other person is on speaker. On my end, I can barely hear the other person with them jumping in and out every single word with lots of static when they talk. On their end, they can't hear me at all. Worked before I changed over to this rom, so i'm not too sure if its an issue with this rom, or theres something weird going on. Works fine if they aren't on speaker.

    Also, which is more of a stable rom to use for full time use? I've been loving this one, but if PE is a better and more developed rom (must have bluetooth and calls working fine), then i'd rather use it.

    I can't install the February update.When I click install,it shows applying update even though its not updated.Is the inbuilt updater broken?

    It works for me but iirc the current zip uploaded for ota is slightly out of date with what the updater expects. To check if you actually are on the latest version, check the about phone section in settings, it should show 20230202 there.

    - WiFi
    - DualSIM, including calls on both sims
    - Bluetooth
    - NFC
    - Camera
    - Sound
    - GPS
    - Fingerprint scanner

    - SD cards
    - Double tap to wake
    - Data encryption
    - SELinux enforcing
    - OTA updates
    - Signature spoofing
    - Most other basic stuff

    Known issues:
    - Using Private DNS breaks network for some reason, so just don't use it for now.
    - VoLTE ;)

    Installation guide:

    1. Recommended Samsung firmware version is A705FNXXU5DVK6, but it will work on slightly older versions too.​

    Make sure that the bootloader is unlocked.​

    --

    2. Boot the phone into download mode. Flash Lineage recovery through AP button in Odin.​

    Download here.​

    Note: Use TWRP at your own risk! It does not properly support new A13 roms with the latest changes.
    Use Lineage recovery for the best experience, otherwise don't complain if your phone bootloops.

    3. Boot into recovery (Vol+ and Power while USB is plugged into PC)​

    Note: Samsung's OneUI wipes the custom recovery partition and possibly vbmeta while booting so try not to reboot into Android.

    4. Format data and system in the recovery​

    --

    5. Flash the rom in "Apply update" menu.​

    There are 2 ways to install:
    • On the phone: Copy the zip to a FAT32-formatted microSD card and install it in recovery.
    • With a PC: Use Minimal ADB on Windows. Open "cmd-here" and type
      Code: 
      adb sideload <rom-file>
      where <rom-file> is the filename (drag-and-drop the zip file into cmd window).

    6. (Optional) Flash add-ons such as Google apps or Magisk in the same way that you flashed the rom.​

    We now have a working ramdisk so newest Magisk works fine ^^

    7. Reboot and enjoy :)​
