Hi. 120hz works fine, 5g is 5g here as well, I didn't speed test on both miui and evox to provide numbers but it works. Dolby does have an app in here but i didn't play around it even to find out if it works. Charging speed is the same i guess.First of all Hoi,
I'm new to this custom rom thingy and kind of eyeing on evolutionx for sometime now...
Recently got my bootloader unlocked for the same reason.
I was wondering if there are any setbacks using evolutionx compared to miui... For example battery charging speed, 5g connectivity, 120hz display and dolby sound...
I can't wait to migrate from miui to evolx!!
But need to make sure about somethings that I am unsure of...
Thanks guys ^_^
Actually the rom file got corrupted, I realised it very late ...but now I'm all in on Evolution xsounds as you didn't install custom recovery:
Last time I had to go back because the Camera was shooting in like 1,6MP or something like that. Could you please try if 108MP mode is shooting in 108MP and also if normal photos are 12MP. Thanks
I think he just changed GitHub usernames that's why the link is now invalid. Maybe forgot to update it. Anyways, here's the link: https://github.com/JaswalAshish/kernel_xiaomi_sm8350/commits/tiramisu found in his device tree in our org. Check attachment.Hi @Ashish11948,
As has been mentioned previously in this thread:
your kernel source link:
Post #2 "XDA-Developers and the GPL" specifies the kernel source code must be directly linked to in the OP.
I also notice you haven't been on the forum for almost seven weeks. In order to qualify as a Development thread (and be allowed a single social media link in the OP), primary support must be provided on XDA as mentioned in Post #3 "Threads Prefixed by [Development]".
If you have things going on in real life that prevent this right now, then that's understandable, but in that case I'll have to change your thread to a [General] [SHARED] type instead of Development. I'm actually under the impression your thread might not qualify as Development anyway, since your OP says that @joeyhuab is the developer, but if you come back and correct the things that must be corrected, you can clarify if you're the official maintainer or if you're just sharing someone else's development.
I can give you five days from now to correct the kernel source link and let me know about your status as a developer.
