nice ROM, only issues so far:
The ROM runs poorly in comparison to a phone that isn't ewaste, but that's kind of to be expected.
Initially the default DPI setting is very high, can be fixed by running "adb shell wm density 270" to work around it.
LineageOS 20 is not finished (at least in comparison to other Android 13 ROMs), so its missing a lot of features of LineageOS.
I don't like having gcam go or google gallery go by default but I guess this is because those are what make the camera work in the first place.
Otherwise the rom works fine, and would make for a surprisingly usable daily driver (save for the low storage).

Hi, I've installed the version from 2022-09-28 with GApps today on my j5nlte (SM-J500FN) and it looks and feels great. Props and great respect to @daviiid99. The only problems I have encountered so far are with the camera or camera app (the camera itself is OK, did work well under the original Samsung Android 5 and 6).

The major problem with the camera is that it does not function reliably. Sometimes, no photo is taken after pressing the trigger and an error message pops up. Sometimes, the picture looks OK on the screen, but the photo is just black. Exposure control works or works not, with no understandable pattern. The same for focus control. Selecting a focus by tapping on the screen does not seem to have an impact (or the camera's reaction is very slow). Is there anything I can do to make the app work better?

One other question on the gallery app. When I want to delete a photo, I have to confirm it twice every time. First, the app asks if the photos should really be moved to the trashbin. Then I have to confirm that the app may change photos at all. Is there an option to make the second confirmation permanent?

... and one further question. Should it be possible to update GApps like Gallery Go via Google Playstore?

I have tried on my device, but it ended up with an error message (Gallery kann nicht installiert werden in German, i.e. Gallery cannot be installed). Is that OK or do I have to change something?

This problem with battery charge occured with lineage-20.0-20220928-UNOFFICIAL-j5xnlte and last TWRP twrp-3.7.0_9-0-j5xnlte
It can not charge, after a few seconds J5 starts again. Charging with Lineage OS is OK, after start.
Same problem has Samsung J5 2015 SM-J500FN with lineage-20.0-20220928-UNOFFICIAL-j5nlte and latest twrp-3.7.0_9-0-j5nlte.
J5 2015 has no strange horizontal lines like on picture 2.

Which TWRP I must use, to avoid this problem? Or problem is bootloader? Maybe needs new bootloader for Android 13, latest is for Android 6?

Tengo un SM-j500FN, antes no podia instalar la app (LibreLink), que usaba para medir mi glucosa (soy diabetico), desde hoy ya la tengo operativa con este movil, de modo que lo utilizo solo para estas mediciones.
De nuevo MUCHAS GRACIAS por la aportacion.

my third phone SM-J500F DS also has same problem. This time I used older TWRP twrp-3.5.2_9-0-j5lte.img-- This problem probably not caused by TWRP.

Hello friend. Thanks for the rom. I have some issues. My model is SM-J500H.
1) The camera is not working, it just shuts down.
2) GPS is not working.
3) There is exclamation(!) mark on the signal icon in the top right, what does that mean?
