What do you mean by crashes? It works with both 2GB & 3GB variants.

Yes, it says that IMS is registered. If IMS is not registered, then you won't get the VoLTE icon in the status bar.

First of all, this thread is for AOSP Extended rom support and no one has reported any boot issues since the initial build. So if you're having issues with AOSP Extended, then please mention the build number/date in the zip file and where you downloaded it from. Thanks.

I guess you're using nougat based twrp (which is the official version) twrp.

Try the unofficial twrp from this thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-5/development/recovery-twrp-t3877630 which has support for Pie roms.

Make sure that you've flashed oreo firmware, https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-5/development/firmware-xiaomi-redmi-5-t3810089.

Also if you're coming from miui nougat, then take backup of internal storage, install fastboot oreo rom first and then twrp via fastboot and then the custom rom.

PS: If you have a telegram account, join the rosy groups where others also will be able to help you with this issue.

Hey xDoge, great ROM. Unfortunately after using for a day or two, it lags way too much to be a daily driver. I moved back to my previous ROM. Also, there is a specific issue, if you use whatsapp camera, a green screen comes if flash is off. That needs to be fixed. I hope it will get better in the future.

I have a serious issue. When i flash any rom which is on oreo or pie based, i have noticed a common issue. Which is when i call anyone they did not get my voice after few minutes and after recall its fine. It happens every time i call anyone. Please tell me the solution

Great rom, just one little bug about Flashlight.

If i turn Flash from the Lockscreen it would turn off as soon as i power off the screen.
However, if i turn on flash after unlocking the device and then power off the screen, it disables again after some few minutes.

Anyway this bug can be resolved?

Hi. Audio recording is very bad as in miui. The Pixel experience is able to record properly. Do you have a chance to correct the bad sound recording problem? Also when I send a voice message in whatsapp the volume is too low..
