lollipop but never perfected kitkat

so we have lollipop for our m4. ....i have a big issue with cyanogen. ........ They have moved forward with 12.1 but still the bluetooth audio problem exsists. .........with most phone users also being car owners you would think given the safety aspect of needing blurtooth while driving they would make evey effort to rectifie the issue before releasing new builds. ie Lollipo, given the fact that lollipop has a better interface than kitkat people will choose to stick with the build and use the device without bluetooth and vey probably chancing it when they drive. .....although it is down to an individual what they do surely cyanogen have a duty of care which they clearly dont care about given the length of time this bluetooth audio issue has been around
Moral perfect one thing before moving on to the next as issues unresolved mount up and nothing eve gets resolved

will test and report back

edit; still doesn't boot first time, but holding power and forcing it to reboot gets it loaded
Error message about settings still comes up on boot
seems faster than last build
I/O still needs some refinements, apps take much longer to install than normal

overall happy with it so far

I tested today, backup in twrp then full wipe, install cm12.1, boot (took about 10 minutes), reboot and install gapps and wipe dalvik/cache.
Runs fine for me, little bit of lag here and there but too soon to tell properly! I've had no luck with trusted places or on body within the smart lock menu, does anyone have these options?

is it okay to install the new version just by wiping the system? or does it require a full wipe?

a bit off topic maybe but is anyone developing a custom kernel with 1.7 ghz and dt2w ?

pretty happy with your last build. get like 1 random reboot per day but the rest is working fine. sometimes I need to put in my pin twice before I get connection though.

Last version worked, just need to reboot when stuck on 1st boot, then as mentioned above install Gapps.

But still same issues as with 12.0, when having a phone-call, unwanted buttons/apps will be pressed/started, because screen seems not to be locked when moving phone to ears.

All CM12.x ROMs are unusable because of this, hopefully someone will fix that. Now using IC again and waiting for official Lollipop.

Low volume on microphone

This is a known issue on Lollipop Rom. When talk to someone, he complains that he can't hear me good. They are saying i sound like in a cave.

Hello, I would like to ask if this Rom is still under development. Will there come updates?
Although the developers do well I see little point keep developing aROM that has had a fundamental flaw since cm11 Bluetooth audio does not work ...so why continue with lollipop when they are bringing 4.* issues with them seems fruitless given the safety aspect of driving without Bluetooth audio

Although Bluetooth audio is really a nice feature I would never call it a fundamental flaw! If the rest would be working flawlessly many people including me would be really happy with the rom. Data connectivity seems to be the bigger problem atm. I'm gladly waiting for a new update. Hopefully with a fix for mobile data and suddon reboots.

Considering that this is an unofficial build of CM12, it's already pretty good. It's workable, but could still use some fixing and refinements.
Here are a few things I've observed:
1. There is always a "!" symbol on the data icon on the status bar despite having network. This disappears when connected to wifi.
2. Every time I reboot, my screen opens with an error message about the settings app.
3. Apps tend to crash. Multitasking is hard.
4. Bluetooth problems.

I hope the devs still work on this since I believe we could achieve at least a stable rom. :)

Good luck and thanks to all the devs!
