Installed this ROM. First Thank goes to walter79 for focusing on these ROM. Second Thank obviously goes go adi4motion for collecting everything at one place.

I have one querry:

Previously when I flashed MS2Ginger 2.0 ROM I had notification power widget, is there such option in this ROM. I am not able to find it.

I had to sysctl and update Min free Kbytes to 4096 for gmaps to work smoothly

How do i do that?
gmaps is very slow here

Does this rom users have WIFI problems.? I have periodic disconnections to be precise . It goes off every 3 mins and then reconnects in 10 seconds, again after 3 mins it goes off.. ??

well, i run adhoc wifi connection and have no problem in that.

bdw, lookswise ok but performance wise this ROM is not as gud as CM. I am switching to CM7.2

I had the same doubt, so i full date wipe cache wipe, then in restored full FROYO sbf in bootloader mode and now shall shift to cm7.2 nightly

I restored MIUI and advanced restored boot and devtree of miui then updated to CM7.2

Nice Rom , very Fast.

I have a problem though.
I removed the 2 lines for reblur.

It worked, but when i try to add an account , for example facebook , it somehow does not sync / work properly. when i try to add a social widget, it still says that i have to add one - even though i did so.
Maybe it has something to do with the build.prop ?

to roll back on froyo must put a froyo rom with boot.img and devtree included in .zip
like stable cm7 one and /or miui

@bluehangel and bld i install froyo via full SBF flash using RSD lite (i hope you know the method its mentioned in the sticky)


BTW did anyone found out the solution regarding wifi fix. (it toggles on off after 3min)

Full restore = boot Loop
Bl7 Motorola = suck :S

Actually what I did was not removing those lines but instead change their values to :

ro.mot.deblur=false
ro.mot.setuptype=1

and also if you do not have this:
ro.setupwizard.mode=DISABLED
please add it too.

Unfortunately you must (i do not know why) wipe your DATA otherwise you will either end up with blur enabled and already logged in to some FUNNY account or with issues like yours.
If i may suggest backing all up with titanium backup and restoring afterwards.

Regarding SWYPE:
It will not work no matter what you do. There is however a simple solution. Using any root explorer delete:
1) swype.apk from /system/data/
2) com.swype.android.inputmethod FOLDER from /data/data/
3) libSwype.so (or very similar) from /system/lib/
4) any Swype entry in /data/dalvik-cache/ or the whole folder

Then go to http://www.swype.com/ register yourself wait a day or two and download the newest and up to date version of swype with many addons and voice recognition

Voila Done, sound hard? well should take no more that 3 min
