Is it normal that after restoring this rom Defy reboots many times?
I just flashed it & my Defy shows Motorola logo for few seconds and again reboots.
Or something wrong?

Thank you for sharing this, I come from CM9 and CM7 and find that this indeed is (not just feels) a lot smoother/faster/more responsive. I care little for benchmarking, but for every-day use, this rom is a winner in my book. The 'tweakability' of Cyanogen is tempting and may be something I miss now and then, but at the end of the day I only 'tweak' things once and after that I just want a phone that works, and this one does that job admirably.

How can i hide the RED ARROWS notification on status bar when data is disabled ?
this is a quick release rom

had a lot of bugs

try start radio
or just walk trought
music player
U'll see what i am
talkin' about
My radio is working just fine.
My radio and music player work just fine as well.

mihaidenis, instead of using a question as an invitation to complain in a rather vague - and to others baseless - manner, consider answering the question you quoted.

First of all, the notification when data is disabled, is not a bug. It's a feature built-into the rom this is based on. People with smart phones most often want data connectivity, so to those people this feature may make sense - without a data connection, the phone is a lot less 'smart'.

I believe the arrows are related to the 'Battery and Data Manager' application in the ROM - removing this may remove the notification, but it will also remove functionality (as in being able to toggle various data-related settings).

An alternative might be to use a 3rd party program such as 'APNDroid' to enable/disable data - it does this by changing the name of the Access Point, but does not in fact toggle the radio I I think, so the notification may not be shown.

Good luck ;)

radio is not working more

these are the reasons

here i am attatching 2 pictures 1st before zooming to max and 2nd after zooming to maxx pls provide a solution
Hm. I can not reproduce your problem on my green-lens Defy, though I have had this issue on a ROM which allowed zooming past 4x. Did you do a wipe before installing this ROM or did you in any way change system settings pertaining to your camera?

As for you, mihaidenis, I am happy to report that I do not share any of the issues you are reporting with this ROM. I hope that by now you've found something that agrees with you :)

My pleasure :)

I have never had the problem return myself, but are you perhaps installing a certain program which makes changes to camera settings? Regardless, it's good to hear you have it working, however temporarily.

well, I would assume a general 'tweak' app might contain such a setting and applies it along with a bunch of others, but I do not use such programs myself - I prefer to apply changes to system files one by one, so that if there's a problem, I can easily revert the setting.

Hi guys I have found a solution to random reboots and freezes. Delete The RAM SCRIPT from init.d folder. Id does not seem to work well. You should have no problem finding it since there are only 2 scripts in there.
LOCATION: /system/etc/init.d

I recommend using SuperCharger script instead that you can take from HERE <-- (Right click it and SAVE attachment) and apply using THIS.

Enjoy. If I helped please press THANKS button located somehere on the bottom right :)
