[ROM][19/01/2013] ★ Asus TF700 Infinity Stock Rooted Odex – JB 10.4.4.25 ★

You can flash this straight over CleanROM 2.3 to 3.x or Asus Jelly Bean stock without a wipe if you want to test it – but it is a very good idea to wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.

You must be unlocked and have a custom recovery (TWRP/CWM) to flash this from the internal or external sdcard. You should also be on at least the .20 JB Bootloader.

The .25 Bootloader is offered in the downloads section for those that haven’t upgraded yet. Flash it from Recovery as you would a ROM. It will preserve your custom recovery as well :)

Don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup first and give the ROM 5 mins to stabilise!

This Rom is based off the latest Asus Infinity 10.4.4.25 WW full release. It will work on any locale infinity.

I have also included the 10.4.4.25 JB Bootloader for those of you that want to update to the latest. It is the same as the .23 and .20 bootloader other than the version number has changed so you don’t need to bother flashing it if you don’t need it.

ChangeLog from Asus:
SD card
Improve the compatibility with the latest MicroSD card spec (All SKUs)

Movie Studio
Fix the Issue that some exported Videos cannot be played to the end (All SKUs except CN)

3rd Party AP
Upgrade Polaris Office to 3.5_5r16713FV06 to fix the issue that some Turkish letters display abnormally (All SKUs)
Reduce the incidence that the lower part of the screen would flicker at the Menu Page of Mio Map AP which is downloadable from Google Play Store. (All SKUs)

Camera
Fix the issue that switching between built-in camera AP and some 3rd party camera Apps would cause an error message "Cannot Connect to Camera." (All SKUs)

Framework
Reduce the incidence that music(local file) which being played in the background would lag when user is switching between different Tabs in Browser (All SKUs)
• Rom is ODEXed as Asus have done it
• SuperSU binary and apk included to give root access
• Busybox installed
• init.d support
• unsecured stock kernel
Many thanks to _that for unpacking the kernel and repacking with init.d and unsecure mods. :good:
There are no other mods – please don’t ask for theming, changes or performance boosts. Those will come with CleanROM Inheritance v3.2 :)

Not sure what you mean? If you flash the file it will default you back to the stock kernel which only allows dpi of 240. Have you flashed another kernel on top?

I was in cleanROM 3.1 using clemsys 1.5, then i flashed the rooted odex 10.4.4.25 zip (from this first post) and then i installed the WW bootloader provided here, so after reboot it starts and then i found a 160DPI desktop. :D what i did wrong?

Hmm.. I'll have to test that process. Something doesn't sound right.

HDMI won't cause an issue.

You know when you flashed it did you do the bootloader straight after the rom without reboot inbetween? That *might* cause the issue you are seeing. I can guess that one overwrote the other so the kernel update in the rom wasn't flashed as it was overwritten by the bootloader update.

I bet you are not on this kernel here are you?

3.1.10.00001-gdc9b6cf Uranus

Reflash the rom again (without the bootloader (as you already did that)) and you will be fine.

yeah, you are right, i didn't reboot between updates. I'll do it again, I didn't know that sorry for the waste of time... and thanks so much!!!

Edit: I reflashed again and DPI is 240 now. Cool!!! Thanks again!!!

How can I check which version of bootloader I have?
Boot into recovery, when you see the 4 icons, on the top left, second line, it should said bootloader version 1.00e, then you have JB bootloader, if you don't know for sure what JB version then just flash the latest one, only take a few seconds!!

The exact firmware version (10.4.4.x) is visible in the same line as the bootloader version after "released by". :)

Now why would you want to do that? some google apps are location dependent, so they may not working correctly, gps time server, wifi, playstore etc...

I live in the uk and have a US tablet running US roms and I would like to know if this can be done also.
You can flash full Asus rom of other SKU beside US and WW. Some google location base apps may not work correctly but if you don't need them, then nothing to worry about.
