Why is it useless? Just because it has minimal customisation abilities? Some people like the original gingerbread launcher in nexus s
Yes thats exactly why, such as having only 3 dock icons and being laggy and a memory hog for what it is, even the stock lg optimus one used Lg Home and not launcher2.
a custom rom should be as customisable as possible, otherwise why even have moded roms. Thats why cyanogenmod is so popular as its giving all customisation options in its settings, without having to depend on third party apps such as setcpu and root tools.
Anyway zeam launcher has great results, and there are a few variants of the stock gingerbread launcher on the market as well fyi.

I'm with terratrix on this one. Stock launcher. It can be replaced with whatever anybody likes afterwards.

The market exist for a reason. Launcher2 is slightly better as it has a Much smaller size compared to the ones found in market. I end this argument, let the developer decides what he wants to do.

that way u don't take away the oportunity of havinga stock launcher. if ppl want diff launchers they can just download them according to their taste. this way everyone is happy haha
agreed ... stock launcher. let the person installing customize if they want. (like i do... i complely get rid of any launcher installed on any rom and install launcherpro... thats my personal taste, others like zeam etc etc.... but like stated stock launcher cant be downloaded from the market....)
Been running v1.1 of this rom for some time and love it... all its optimizations of it are perfect (zram, deodexed, zipalign etc etc). please keep all that you have done with 1.1 when updating the rom.
<3 this rom and goldenleaf kernel!
I got one question though, how is this any different from Mik_os rom, besides the lack of adw launcher, and supposed sound fix which mik fixed a long time ago.

deodexed, zipaligned, zram, loopysmoothness and other tweaks... all stated in the original post.
ye miks is deodexed as well and zram is a kernel feature, which franco made absolete in his latest kernel. Loopy smoothness tweak and others are just tweaks that are publicly available, so yes thats why im wondering why make a brand new rom for them
no, mik's 6.5.x and 6.6.x are not deodexed, they are odexed .
Yes, ZRAM is a goner for a while already, you got that right
