[ROM][2.3.6]UCKK6 "SHOstock" [1.9.4][03/02][SuperHighOutput!] FINAL

Hey I've been using this rom for a while and I love it.
I have one problem though and tethering won't work.

I can have devices connect to my phone but it won't be able to connect to the internet.
Are there any solutions to this? Thanks.

Even though i've moved on to another device i can tell you tethering has ALWAYS worked for me. Try wiping and reflashing. I've tried several other roms and always came back to to this. Might sound crazy, but i would love SHOstock on my LG Optimus G.

Well I tried what you said and it still doesn't work T_T

I booted into recovery
wiped data/factory reset, cache, delvik cache

reflashed the shostock rom

downloaded wifi tether for root users

i can connect to my phone but once again, no data transfers from the internet
I guess i should just give up

Dude! Tethering is enabled in the Rom itself. No need for wifi tether. That's probably why your're having issues.

are you talking about going to settings->wireless and network ->tethering and portable hotspot->portable wifi hotspot settings?

using that I still have the same problem. I can connect but no internet access :crying::crying::crying:

I haven't messed with tethering since I started running this ROM again but I just tried usb tethering and portable hotspot and both worked fine.

I'm fairly certain that it has to do with my APN setting, since I don't have a 'dun' apn type, which allows data transfer through wifi
if you check your apn settings, one of them will probably have a 'dun' in it none of mine do thou
for some reason I can't create a 'dun' apn and i tried a lot of stuff but it's just not working

i guess i'll just give up

well I guess that rules out dun as one of of the possible issues.

butttt it's still not working. i've been troubleshooting this for a while now but i really have no clue what's going on
