Anyone running this v3.0 notice that if the charger is plugged in the screen locks up and slows way down. I can't even unlock it if the charger is plugged in.
Unplug it and it seems fine so far.

Well I decided to start porting ICS roms from the i9100 section. I made a port of OmegaRom which is pretty close to the same as this Rom but even more fully awesome. I got messages between him/I mixed up and made a post with it about a week ago but then removed it since he wants to post it up for us. I worked with the i9100 dev for Omega Rom and he should be hopefully putting up a link in our i777 forums. I did alot of the porting and working with him and then he would send me test builds. The last build is great so hopefully it gets put up really soon.
I will probably jump back on cm9 at some point also. I tend to try out many roms on a daily or weekly basis. So if you like my CobraRom then I think you will really like OmegaRom Black and Blue. Look for it soon.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying bro? There's no porting that need to be done. I took it, changed the key layout, kernel, modem with a few other small things and it was done. That's very, very far from porting. Its takes at most, 45 seconds to do.

I am just still learning this stuff and changed more than just what you listed. I have been doing it manually to learn for my own benefit. Here is a link to all the files I changed. Maybe it is overkill. As far as Omega Rom it was my first try at it. On the first few versions when I only changed what you listed and zipped it back up, flashed it after a datawipe/factory reset you would loose root even though all the files were there. So I worked with indie and hopefully helped because now there is no issue when you do this with current versions. http://db.tt/yzNCt2n8
So these were the files I swapped after manually tearing apart the Rom and getting them set up. I now know that the hellraiser ics does most of these anyways now. Again maybe overkill what I had done but I was trying to make it More compatible with our phones. So I created the zip above to flash right over it.

yep. just looked through that file. i know you're still learning thats why im filling you in bro. :D

wifi folder=overkill, it doesn't change anything.

su in both bin & xbin isn't necessary. pick one and symlink it to whichever one you use (xbin or bin). you wouldn't lose root on either.

csc=not necessary but i put it in sometimes.

so with all of that. it didn't make it "more compatible for our phones bro. just filling ya in. :D

Nobody else noticing this?
I copied and pasted the Entropy 1/23/12 kernel that I like into the zip using Root Explorer. Not sure if that caused the issue.
I will do it on the laptop and try again when I get a minute.

I was waiting to see if anyone else had an issue. I never had that issue while I was running it though. I know you said you had issues with entrooys newest kernel but I would try it again. Or redownload the rom as is and test it after a full wipe. Just make a nandroid before. Then just test it out. Or wait for anyone else to chime in. Let me know what you find.

RockRatt Your ROM looks cool!!! I'm looking to flash this soon. A few questions, is the pull down menu transparent? Can I install the GO Dialer and theme it any color I want? Of course I will be installing Go Launcher. Are the status icons blue like in the picture with out doing anything else after flashing? Can I change the status icons color flashing vert's Blood Red theme? Or is there a way to change the color in the ROM? Are you releasing the CobraRom 3.0 FULLROM soon? Thanks for your hard work!!! Sorry for all my n00b questions....

It has been a while since i have been on it so I cannot remember about the transparent background or not. Yes you can do whatever you want with go launcher. Just give it a try. Yes the icons are the blue without having to do anything. As far as changing the toggle colors and theming it you will have to edit it quite a bit inside the whole Rom. I am working on/using a new version that I am slowly getting done that is a red themed ICS xwlp9 so hopefully soon I will put up a new Rom that is almost all red. Still have some work to do though. It will be a new Rom since it is ICS and I changed the name and theme of it.

Thanks for the reply, I will flash this!! So flash 2a let it boot then flash 3.0 update right? Any word on the "SGH-I777 Running Red Reaper Rom" release?!!!
Hopefully tonight or by tomorrow morning for a Red version. Then once it is up I will probably do a Version 3.0 of Cobra Rom with the same base firmware. The Red version will need more work along the way until I have anything I can themed that I feel necessary. Trying to get rid of all the blue has been a *****, so some might be in it for first release but Not Much.

Cool, looking fwd to seeing the red one if it's as cool as the blue one!!! Check out Go theme Red Fusion by Mojo studio, I changed the dock with the one from the classic theme. Themed widgets with Team Carbon's BloodRed ICS and the dialer. Good job on the help you did with the Omega ROM! Keep up the good work!

Got the Red Themed ICS Version up here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644080 if your interested.

I don't think I will be updating this rom again since it is Gingerbread but I will probably make a Version of my REDRUM Reaper rom that will basically be this theme but for ICS based on the same XWLP9 as redrum Reaper. I never saw anything in this rom that needed to be fixed or heard anything. So this will be final here and left for those that prefer Gingerbread roms.
