This rom has been EOL for sometime already. The website is also down so I assume it wouldn't be able to download it as well since there is no source available.

Okay. That makes sense. I'm currently using the Lineage OS 16.0 ROM but I'm not satisfied with the lack of boomsound audio and the battery life isn't that great. Thanks for the reply tho.
When we flashing other roms...finally sure we back to sense...because the camera and sound...the feels also different...
Me just stay with sense android 6.0 - 6.0.1
And yes venom is stable for daily driver.
Just cannot install mod through their hub..

My apologies if I'm bumping an old thread, I just installed Viper the other day to breathe some life into my phone. It's been great so far, but I've just run into a strange problem that I can't seem to find anywhere else.
Last night, play store decided it would start auto updating my apps. This included Sense Home, which as I understand you're not supposed to update. Well, it updated anyways and of course broke the tweaks. I uninstalled updates in the play store, but now sense home no longer recognizes long presses. I can't move/delete apps from my home screen. Is there any fix for this?

Reflash the ROM. As soon as you reboot, go to the Play Store and disable auto update.
Update: Dirty flash not good enough, I needed to do a data wipe too. Seems to have fixed most issues but introduced a new one - I can't send texts from the stock any app anymore. Phone calls work fine, but stock messaging behaves strangely. Pressing the send button does nothing, and the app doesn't store drafts. If I try to access the diagnostics screen from the dialer (4636), the code disappears when I type it but nothing opens. Also interesting: mobile data works fine, I'm typing this right now on mobile. However, if I try to open the vzwinternet APN settings, the Settings app crashes. Whew, fun!
Edit: Noticed a few more things;
- I just received a text. I can't open it from the notifications drawer, and the Messages app is totally empty.
- The Viper Tweaks app can open a diagnostics screen with my SMNC (sp?) number, which is blank. I hit refresh which loaded in some kind of number, then hit apply, and rebooted my phone. No change, and the SMNC field remains empty.

Hey hv, thanks - I posted an update after that, it turns out I needed to wipe data too in order to fix this odd problem. Would you happen to know why this SMS issue has started though?

Vemom's website is not loading anymore. Someone put a link up 2 pages back for the VenomOne ROMS for HTC One M8.....
My ? is can the latest ViperOne 6.01 be used on Verizon's HTC One M8? Is the Viper ROM working..... or if sites down, ROM is too?

The website has nothing to do with the ROM itself. The ROM will still work
