Please ignore if its been answered.(altho plz answer i read back to page 176 couldn't find any answer)(really scared of senior members calling me out a noob XD)

I went up to Android O the first time after a factory reset and all,but do i need to do that again everytime i upgrade from 7 to 8 ?
Using RR with Android N.
Kudos to Dev for his hard work !

Clean installation is always recommended.

Whenever you're coming from Nougat based Roms, boot to TWRP > wipe > advanced wipe > wipe everything except internal storage / SD card > flash 8x Roms, followed by Gapps > reboot..

I bought this phone onlu a week ago. I was bored about miui after some hours xD So i unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp, and i went here on xda... saw Lineage, saw 8.0, and Boom! Flashed straight.

I have to say i love this rom. no problems for me... is substratum working? Does OTA works?

OTA doesn't works no server
And as far as substrantum it considered it works too;)

This people asking on fixing bugs and so are too impatient to answer and don't even following the rules also. XDA should use block option introduced here then only spams been rejected.

I dirty flashed this build over the previous month build and wiped cache+dalvik
now it says "To start Android, enter your password"
p.s. my phone wasnt encrypted

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.     Note :- Encryption Bug is still not fixed so users who are flashing this rom for First Time do Format Data Via TWRP and remove Encryption First.
